Wez, be quiet. He's allowed to voice his opinion without you coming in and acting like a **** every time he does.

Lol but it's so funny tho ! He doesn't even say IMO he just says" this movie is the greatest movie to ever be made in the history of movies" I'm not trying to be a **** it's just funny. His look on movies is worse than mine lol. When he says **** like this movie is the best movie of our generation it's just funny to me.

Edit looks like he changed it do my bad.

Seriously, THE most uplifting moment in movie history? EVER? Think about that for a minute. It's a tad extreme. :lol

For ME. :lecture

I'm not stating it as an objective fact. But I certainly don't remember being electrified 7 times in a row watching any other scene :dunno

:lol at the hyperbole.

Andy Dufresne escaping Shawshank through five football fields of **** is more powerful and uplifting than the scene in TDKR. Especially before you see how he did it with the Warden throwing rocks at the poster.

The bats coming out of the crack in the pit is a nice touch but there are far better uplifting Batman moments. Specifically the cave in Begins when Bruce embraces his fear of Bats and the end of Batman '89 when Gotham accepts Batman as their hero and it pans up the buildings with Batman over looking the city.

Oh these are opinions I forgot. Uhhhh, BAD OPINIONS BROS.

Nah, no other Batman moment comes remotely close for me.

Shawshank is a GREAT film, one of my top 5 definitely. So yeah, that scene would rival this. But I haven't seen Shawshank 7 times to judge whether it moves me the same way every time :lol

If by rival you mean stomp it's brains out, I agree. :lol

In addition to Shawshank, Titanic and Lord of the Rings also has more uplifting moments. Oh and Schindler's list, especially with that music.

The pit prison with Bruce is child's play in comparison. CHILD'S PLAY.

Shawshank, Seabiscuit, Rudy, It's a Wonderful Life, etc, etc, etc, now THOSE are some uplifting movies.

The music with the climb in TDKR *was* very good, but not even close to some of the most inspiring moments of all time.

Rudy, how could I forget. That also reminded me of Rocky, another uplifting movie. Especially with DA STEPS.
