Once again, if you think TDKR is a bad movie, you're an idiot. :lol

And again, idiot. Stop being an idiot. Idiot. **** you. :lol

What makes this a good movie?

Certainly not the Villain (who sounds like ass excrement hitting a synthesizer microphone)

Certainly not the plot/plots.

Certainly not the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Certainly not the secondary (and mostly unnecessary) characters and their horrific acting.

Certainly not bad extras chanting nonsense.

Certainly not the editing (unless cramming as many ideas, themes and plots as you can and then speeding through them is highly regarded)

Certainly not the awkward cuts.

Is it Catwoman? Robin Blake? Do they make this film what it is? Is it the action? Transformers has tons of mind numbing action, is it a good movie?

I see a crappy villain (that is neither likable or despicable), I see a rushed script (which was probably the very first draft) and an ending that was probably created as they went along filming (they probably didn't reveal the end of the script to cast members because they were still writing it).

Nolan did it for the $$$. Warner Bros. was like "yo, C-Nol, give us another movie bro, we'll pay you up front" and he was like "I dunno . . . eh, sho".

Remember, this was the man that had to be convinced that Scarecrow should wear a mask, Batman should have a cape, that Catwoman is a worthy character to introduce and that Bane should be the main villain. God knows what Bane was before he became Bane.

He wanted to make some revolution/war/Howard Hughes/Tale of two Turds/whatever crap he was thinking about during the story process. Instead he made a Batman film with those themes while throwing a bunch of comic references in for good measure.

Or maybe he wanted to make a nice conclusion to Batman/Bruce Wayne's story but just ****ed up.

That's why they're where I put them in that post. I hated John Blake before I saw the film but he's one of the best things about it. Yeah, the writing and scenario of Robin deducting Bruce Waynes' alter ego is complete nonsense (and typical of threequels) but JGL plays it so well that I almost believe it. It's not his fault or the character.

Then Catwoman is simply Catwoman. She's not that deep and pretty one dimensional but she's still much better than I thought she was going to be. I thought she was going to be this annoying liberal that was going to spew out a bunch of 99% garbage after Trailer 2 but she turned out just fine.

And there we have it. :lol

DiFabio finally admits that the only he doesn't like TDKR because of his contrasting political views. :lol

I always had that feeling...

But none of that stuff ever happened? Gotham citizens didn't even revolt, it was just Blackgate prisoners and Bane's gay bros with the red scarfs?

It didn't even clash with my beliefs, it clashed with the last film.

If my political view is Batman, then yeah, I guess that is true. :lol

What the hell is ICP?

And Nolans Batman legend never die like it not :yess:

Btw some rumours doing the rounds that the Blu ray will include an extended cut (as much as 30 mins longer)

I'm not believing anything at this point but the only reason i'm hopeful is because this film was clearly edited pretty brutally to meet the 2hr 45min IMAX constraint + the fact we know of scenes that didn't make it to the final cut

Eh, I specifically stated "I thought it was going to be like _____." If I'm happy with the character, didn't have a problem with how it turned out and was proven wrong, how does that "clash" with a view I may or may not have?

The film seems pretty apolitical to me though. It juggles ideas and presents scenarios but it never becomes this or that. It might have been more interesting if it had an identity instead of going all over the place with plots and themes.

So you're wrong there. I assumed from all the "thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us" talk that Catwoman would be this little, whiney *****, that's all. Turns out she wasn't. That's all I said.

Class wars are hardly evident in this movie/story. The 1% vs. 99% and Gotham citizens aren't even prominent.

The only group that is shown being treated unfairly and uprising are Blackgate prisoners. Which is pretty moronic. What else would happen if you released criminals out on the streets? Of course there would be riots and uprisings, especially when the police are confined.

Come to think of it, other than the threat of a nuke, Gotham isn't even that bad. It's tame. People are hiding in their homes, hanging out, eating food that Bane allows in. The "worst" scenario that's depicted are a bunch of goons trying to steal an apple from a kid and a kangaroo court for business bros. Where is the crime? Where's the pillaging?

Those guys on the Ferries at the end of TDK and the Blackgate prisoners seem like ***** cats compared to real life criminals. They not only saved the other boat, they pray. They don't rape, murder or maim gothamites, some of them become mercs to chase little boys with apples and be bailiffs at courts. Maybe Batman was the enemy.

The Narrows were much worse. People were literally biting each others heads off.

And I'm the immovable object :lol

You're retired and living a boring life in Italy.

I'm retconned out of the continuity.
