Yeah, if there wasn't a UCE coming, I'd be inclined to pick up both, but Batman beats Bane any day. What makes the decision so difficult is that they just had to choose my two favorite images from the marketing campaign.

Just discovered that it's actually a lenticular with both images.
I like the concept, but it seems too impractical. It's be awesome to have a legitimate replica cowl turned into something like that, though.

It's weird I am excited by this but also want to see a new version of Batman that could fit into a universe of aliens and the supernatural. Plus Bruce Wayne is a self made superhero, applying his mind and body into creating something more than just a man. Blake is a great character but was handed all these toys in which to fight crime. IMO you almost need somebody with Bruce's mind to keep up with these Gods. But then again I really want to see JGL as Batman so I will give it a pass.

I personally don't think the Nolan universe meshes well with the larger all encompassing DC Universe and that a Justice League movie without Bruce Wayne as Batman wouldn't feel right. I like Joseph Gordon Levitt a lot, but I'd prefer a new more comic styled Batman to be in the Justice League film.

Back to TDKR - you can actually watch The Dark Knight Reborn NOW if you've preordered through Best Buy. It seems its just an internet streaming add-on... and in fact you can purchase it on its own for $14.99 (ludicrous). I tried, it won't let me since I don't have a US zip code
IDK. I pre ordered from bb and it added on the web doc for free, but in the specs of the BR it says it has the doc on it. Confusing to say the least..

I'd love to see a continuation.
I think, given to the right director(s), that they could blend the noverse in with other characters. It would have to be slowly and done right though. Starting with MOS.
