Watching it again tonight! I'm beyond excited - I have a feeling I'll be loving it even more the 2nd time around.
...I'll try not to cry like a little baby this time though. :lol

I actually started to feel really bad when bane started to cry when talia was telling the story of how he saved her. Lol I thought I was gonna cry. i just felt so bad for him for some reason when that mask started to give him pain.

Oh come on, Alfred is gonna cry and then you're gonna cry, everybody's gonna cry. :monkey2

Who am I kidding? I'll cry as soon as Batman starts flying over that body of water. That music will get me every time! :monkey2:monkey2

Agreed. Who knew seeing a villain almost be defeated would make me so sad. Bane's eyes said it all.

Apologies for posting this here, but I really didn't want to start a new TDKR thread. Did anyone here buy the CD soundtrack?

According to one Amazon user, the audio quality isn't that great...lots of clipping. Has anyone who has it experienced this?

:exactly: Hardy's body language was top-knotch for this. His eyes sold the character.

I've not bought it yet (came out in the UK today), but that would be extremely disappointing if it turned out to be the case.

The mp3s I have downloaded don't suffer from this issue though.

Neither does the album on Spotify

:slap I forgot to check spotify. :lol

My CD doesn't have the clipping. I got the "Enhanced Edition" that also gives you access to download the 3 Bonus Tracks.

Saw it yesterday in IMAX, and loved it.

The Dark Knight will always be my favorite of the 3, but I like TDKR as much as (if not more than) Batman Begins.

I thought Hardy as Bane was very good and I thought Anne Hathaway was great at Catwoman.

Bale was very good as well, and he is definitely my favorite Batman. Gonna miss not having anymore Nolan Bat films to look forward to. But, they wrapped it up very very nicely. And, it was nice to see Bruce Wayne finally get a "happily ever after" ending (the way I interpreted it).

:clap

That doesn't even look like clipping. It's probably some hard compression/limiting.

Saw it again tonight. Gone from an 8 to a 7 for me. Just not very rewatchable. Also why does Banes voice sound like Sean Connery from the moment he kicks Batmans arse. It sounds really bad and so obviously over produced in the studio. ' I am the leave of shadows' line sounds absolutely ridiculous.

It really is

Im trying not to flip through it and actually read it properly page by page - the detail is incredible

Btw it mentions that 'The Bat' was designed so it could contain a Tumbler within it

Never saw that on film but interesting detail!

Is this the "making of" book void or the "the dark knight manual"?

I have the later coming to me tomorrow! :yess:

I think the beginning needed help. It's a bit dull and long. But... necessary. It's not too bad.

I'd rather have the opening be slow, then the ending. Everyone should look forward, not wish backward. Which is how I feel for TDK.

I don't get why people though the opening was dull and slow?

You got Bane crashing a plane, Selina infiltrating the manor, and the whole Gordon getting captured/street shootout scene. :dunno

Yep. It's only because it's Nolan :lol

But the cafe scene does look a bit dream like...

Cut to Alfred Smiling
Cut to Bruce smiling back
Pan to Cobb sitting at the table next to him
"a dream feels real while your in it"

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

:lol

Got 4 new tickets for AMC. Bought them all to see this again.

:yess:

Seen it 3 times now and on the third is when I got most choked up.

No problems, I do loved how he used Sony Vegas' counter part to show the wavelengths though, cheap program. Can't be trusted. :lol

Enhanced version? Hmm, haven't seen that one, I just have the normal version..
