Half the fun is being so horribly wrong with our guesses. Many movies you go into already knowing whats going to happen based on the trailer or previous knowledge of the source material. Nolan has surprised me with his ability to surprise me thus far. I remember leaving batman begins as a keaton 89 fan and a jaded teenage and thinking WHOA...this stuff can still be insanely cool and well done
I think new bat-suit,cave,mobile is CRUCIAL to establishing the securing of the batman mantle. This should be the movie he comes to his own. No more doubting whether or not he should keep doing it or what the consequences are. He is batman now. And IMO he should have his craft perfected. All those things will help him to do this.

1.) That was the first time I quoted you. You on the other hand have been pretty interested in what I've had to say for the number of times you've quoted and responded to my posts.

Yeah. I remember with the TDK trailer and early pictures I thought FOR SURE that the final battle between the Joker and Batman would be in the street after the truck flip. I pictured that part of the city leaving after the then rumored Joker threat and it being Batman vs. Joker.
I also thought the interrogation scene was going to be different with it being a "battle of the minds/ideals" sort of thing when I saw pictures of Dent looking in on the interrogation (which turned out to be just Lau's).
We've got some good times ahead of us.
THAT and I'm sure there's something in the Batman film contract or prerequisites that states Batman must have a new suit, atleast one new vehicle, a redesigned headquarters and love interest (you can argue that Rachel Dawes was the same character but she was PLAYED by two different actresses) in each film.
But it's all good. I'm looking forward to it.

Not until the final act of the first film. The '89 Batman (not to be confused with the Returns Batman) is pretty much the same Batman as all the other incarnations until he realizes that the Joker and Jack Napier are one in the same, the man that took away his family.
Before that he doesn't kill anyone. He captures and subdues enemies swiftly without killing them and fights for vengence and justice, not revenge. Hell, he doesn't know that the Joker killed his parents until the end of the film so before he learns that, his obsession with the Joker is purely to stop a madman from destroying his city.
Only until he realizes the impact the Joker had on him in his youth does he turn bloodthirsty, but even then, it's short lived.
Gotham came before his parents, so I see nothing wrong with it.
Did he mow down the Joker and his goons with his Batwing? No. The first thing he did was take out the poison gas that endangered everyone in the crowd. After that he zeroed in on the Joker. Now if he shot everyone down, the Joker included and booked, then yeah it would be a story based on revenge.

Really shouldn't have killed off Two-Face in TDK. That was a pretty big mistake. Could've set up a great third installment.
Black mask would be lame. He was mediocre villain to start and the War Games arc really didn't make him any cooler. Heard the Hush rumor as well wich would be equally as lame. Hush was cool in Hush outside of it he was forgettable at best. With as large as Bats rogues gallery is I'd hate to see some flash in the pan villain take the spotlight.
I'd love to see Ra's brought back though I'm sure Nolan doesn't allow for Lazurus pits, which pretty much negates even using the character to Begin with. I could see them incorporating Talia in there though.
