This was the best of the trailers. Each trailer looks and feels so different. I thought that the first and second TDK trailers were too similar.

I'm more excited than I was. I was pretty meh but hoping it would blow me away. Can't wait to own a HT Bane and Catwoman.

On the plus side, I like it when a movie ends up exceeding my expectations. Hopefully maintaining lower expectations going in means that it will be better than I'm thinking. Under-promise and over-deliver rather than the other way around.

3 quick thoughts:

1. Storms coming, same as BB when Batman was talking about LOS, awesome connection.

2. JGL will be a costumed crime fighter.

3. Someone pinch me, is there really an Avengers movie with a 94% RT score and a new Nolan Batman movie coming out 2 months apart.

1. Storms coming, same as BB when Batman was talking about LOS, awesome connection.

2. JGL will be a costumed crime fighter.

3. Someone pinch me, is there really an Avengers movie with a 94% RT score and a new Nolan Batman movie coming out 2 months apart.

Wait...was that confirmed in the trailer? I could see why it may seem that way...but is it confirmed?

Yup, Nolan told me.

Of course it's not confirmed, just a vibe i'm getting from his look and size.

He could be dressed as Batman all I know and that would be the extent of it.

No not confirmed but i'm getting very much the same vibe.

He could be a Nightwing/Robin, in all but name, and just go about the business just as a cop, but I doubt it will be quite as straightforward as that.

The only way I see that playing out is if Bruce get blown up in his final act of saving gotham (in the act of defeating Bane), and dies a martyr. I've suggested this as a possibility a while back..

Then perhaps we see JGL on top of the Bridge in the suit as the final shot.

Not sure I expect something like that to happen, but I think it is within the realm of possibilities

The only way I see that playing out is if Bruce get blown up in his final act of saving gotham, and dies a martyr. I've suggested this as a possibility a while back..

Then perhaps we see JGL on top of the Bridge in the suit as the final shot.

Or maybe he gets injured and JGL becomes the new Batman for the upcoming reboot ala Beyond/Batman Inc?

and I still dislike Hathaway, her acting feels very flat to me.

Her acting didn't look very flat in the trailer.

Bottom line for me--Bane mumbling behind a mask simply can't compete with Ledger's Joker.

The Joker's persona was bigger than the Batman in TDK, imo. With only a potato peeler, he made the Bat run helter-skelter. I hope in the movie Bane will turn out to be different.

Bane is going to do something the Joker didn't. Unlike the previous villains, Bane will actually make me fear what will happen to Bruce Wayne and he will really bring Gotham to it's knees.

Why repeat yourself if you're not going to improve it?

Why do you think he is trying to repeat anything? Looks very different compared to TDK. Like TDK to BB. TDKR has the potential to be the best one.

Seems like people can't get off TDK's ____ long enough to give it a chance.

Or Bruce is just injured and JGL is effectively what Azrael was - filling the void, except not in a costume, and not taking the anti-hero approach.

Just watched the trailer and wow

I always thought it from the beginning but that's basically just confirmed that Hardy and Hathaway are going to be amazing, love Bane's voice and batman's toned down voice, the dialogue and the scenes when Batman is turning around and bane is walking towards him and when Bane's holding the broken cowl blow me away,can't wait.. but still I don't think this trailer is as good as TDK's trailer.
