So I saw the new trailer...looks alright and I really don't want to start a discussion here, but it TOTALLY bounces off of me.
I mean, it looks good and the movie will do great, I'm sure of it.
But after I saw the Avengers...it gives meine nothing and to say this, after I swallowed the previous whole, is quite something.

Just watched the trailer and wow

I always thought it from the beginning but that's basically just confirmed that Hardy and Hathaway are going to be amazing, love Bane's voice and batman's toned down voice, the dialogue and the scenes when Batman is turning around and bane is walking towards him and when Bane's holding the broken cowl blow me away,can't wait.. but still I don't think this trailer is as good as TDK's trailer.

TDKR and Avengers in the space of 2 months..

Yea this is what really stood out to me, I feel like bane walks away from this fine, cant say the same about batman tho

But I'm not THE super Avengers fanboy. It just really happened that I saw the new trailer and it let's me cold...like...totally.
And I was equally hyped before i saw the Avengers.
Believe me: Once you've seen it...the new Tdkr trailer will be boring for you too.

Ouh and fyi: I was one of the last who jumped on the Avengers sig and ava bandwagon...

I may play off the fanboys a little, but honestly, why does one have to be better than the other?

It doesn't...seriously and I will def see it in theatres and I'll love it, I'm sure of it, but imo the Avengers will beat TDKR at the bo.

I cried the last 30 - 45min of Avengers, both times I watched it.


But you're right, lets keep it clean.^^
The trailer looks good, but I'm not looking forward to it that much as before.

I wonder if the will release a "international trailer" a couple weeks before the premiere ala TDK.

TDK was about as good as a serious and realistically grounded comic book movie could be. Nothing I've seen so far has convinced me that this will be able to get out of the shadow of The Dark Knight, and my expectations are being kept in check. However, I give Nolan enough credit that I don't think he'd tackle this project if he didn't have a creative reason to do so. If he has a good story to tell, I will enjoy watching it.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I think anyone expecting this to be the show topper of the trilogy is going to be disappointed. If it is, GREAT! But its best to have lower expectations -- you can never lose that way.

You mean the Dominos pizza trailer? That was the only additional trailer that TDK got, in addition to Teaser, Trailer 1 and Trailer 2

The Dominos trailer was definitely my favourite out of the TDK Trailers. Such a SHAME they didn't release it properly in HD etc.

I'm rewatching all the trailers now...

BB Teaser Trailer = 9
BB Trailer 1 = 8
BB Trailer 2 = 7.5

TDK Teaser Trailer = 8

TDK Dominos Pizza Trailer = 10

Aha - forgot about this one. I thought that one was quite underwhelming actually, probably why it didn't register for me.
