Re: The Dark Knight Rises

You could do what I do. If I can't go, I pay for someone to go who normally wouldn't or for someone to go a second time so the film gets my money opening weekend. I'll be doing this with Avengers since I won't be able to take the family (I have a 2-year-old who loves the characters but might talk) until it's been out more than a week so I'm not interrupting the first-time viewers/diehards.

Nice idea

How are you at stitching things up?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

That shot in the trailer of the barefooted person being dragged away... I wonder if that is part of Bane's backstory?

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I thought that was Bruce,

I have a question... How the Hell does Bane Eat???

Anally. That's why he's so mean.

... :lol .....

I must say. Ive never had a 3 part movie series come out and be so disappointed its ending because it feels like it was just getting started ... :monkey1

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

so,
is there a chance this might be better than the first two.

is that a first?

usually sequels are good, mostly they suck
but a third movie that is amazing, that doesn't happen often,
will this break new ground? a third movie that is amazing?

I loved The Return of The King, but it's not a fair comparison IMO because I consider LOTR to be one huge film, rather than a first film and 2 sequels.

The Nolan Batman movies have very much been independent of each other and connected at the same time.

Each film has its own central themes etc.
Pretty sure TDKR will follow suit and 'feel' very different from the first two, yet also connect to them.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

very rarely does a "Part 3" of a series still have the same director attached. ...
