Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I love the overhead shot of the Bane tumbler in the snow and the overhead of the Bat with the snow top roof of the building.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

However, I do miss seeing void, zach, lambo and nam coming out with their raised guns from the jail break.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

It's all opinion if they're as good or better than the originals.

:nana:

Val Kilmer was a much more interesting Bruce Wayne to me. His Batman wasn't as good as Keaton's though. And this is why I am a fan of Nolan's movies. Bale is a good Bruce and a good Batman.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I seriously wonder how Bane eats or anything, if that thing cannot be removed because of the pain,
and Bane is a big guy, he probably eats like a horse..
Nolan better have an explanation, :impatient:

Admit it. You like Forever best for the rubber butt shot. :exactly:

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I liked Forever a lot, what ruined it was the music, sometimes the music was a really cheesy porn like saxophone, which was really bad,
I liked Ridler and two face, but I hated it how the city was portrayed, sometimes it was too ridiculous and too big, the statues, it sometimes just was too much, too over the top, even for a comic book movie.
Joel Schumacher had some okay ideas, but a lot of the movie feels really cheesy, uncomfortable and inappropriate, like the butt shot and the nipples,
I loved... loved Nicole Kidman and Drew Barrymore, they never looked better, Drew looked really pretty.
I liked the story but like i said I wish Joel didn't push this as much as he did, he pushed it too far into being ridiculous,

I was reading online how Val Kilmer was a nightmare to work with, and that he had fights with the crew constantly, and Schumacher had problems with him.
also Tommy Lee Jones apparently gave a lot of hell, specially to Jim Carrey, is funny because when you see the movie you would never imagine they didn't get along and that Jones was rude, reading that was a total shock to me

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Jesus, you're either stuck in a hot, skin tight Batsuit or a bunch of prosthetics and a cheesy tiger striped suit and you're telling me you wouldn't be pissed off or at least a little bit on edge? Factor in Schumacher's lack of subtlety and over-the-top production designs, and it'd be nuts. I'd want to collect my check and get the hell out of there.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

It's not that Jones was rude, it's that Carry was controlling, and was the main selling point.

Jones wanted to play Two Face more serious, but Joel and crew wanted him to be camp.

Just a lot of drama behind the scenes.

lol true, I dont know, Joel just said that he was a spoiled guy or something, that he picked up fights with the crew and the other actors, but what you said makes me think...

oh I see, What I was reading said that Jones felt Jim was not as good an actor as him, that he was below Jones, but what you said makes sense

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I mean, I've only read tidbits of various stuff on the internet. I don't know for sure what happened. Only they do. And for the most part, actors don't talk ____ about other actors.

the only thing I saw was that Joel said he really hopes he never works with either actor again in his life, and that they were spoiled over paid actors lol,

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Speaking of bats, why does he never again use that sonar thing in his boot from Begins, like when he's in the building in TDK and needs a distraction to deal with Swat and the Doctors etc.

well the guy does have a phobia to bats after all.

How much you wanna bet he wont use the "bat vision" from that scene in this movie either lol

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I can really see Blake/JGL donning the cowl at the end. Heck check out the similarity as well:

And we thought JGL looked like Heath :panic:

Not suggesting that's JGL in the cowl in this pic, i'm 100% sure that's Bale, but just that seeing this comparison makes the possibility of Blake donning the cowl at the very end more 'real' for me.

If he does, i'm almost certain the only scene we see of Blake in the suit is the final shot, and that's likely to be Batman on top of the bridge.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

yeah im thinking, and hoping that is the case, i really hope thats what happens
