Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I think the actress is a bit too young for Christian Bale.

Don't know her so don't know about that but mark my words, there's no way in hell Talia al Ghul would appear as a villain, like I said, if she does appear it'll be as a love interest

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

theres a graphic novel called turning points about some different stories over a long span of comics and series and everything and it focuses on gordon and batman's relationship.

Gordon starts to doubt him about robin for endangering a child, then during the azbats thing for being over-ly violent. of course thats not him.

it would be cool to see batman get seemingly pushed really close to an extreme edge bordering on insanity to start gordon to doubt him.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Gordon will put on an act just like he was doing in TDK where they were searching for Batman even though there was a symbol on the roof. This time it'll just remain under the radar. I could see them putting some doubt into Gordon's mind as a minor plot point but for the most part I fully expect Gordon to be Batman's eyes on the inside much more than he was before.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

While it probably goes against what most people would want, I think it'd be cool if they did the story so that things got so bad, in some way, Gordon learned it was Bruce.

I'd love to see that.

This movie needs to be a solid 3 act epic. This is what i'd like to see:

First should set the scene following the events of TDK and introduce the new characters, re-establish existing.

Second should focus on things degenerating to the point of nearly no return, with perhaps Gordon also learning Bruce's identity in this period.

Third should be Batman fighting back against all odds (in a believable way of course), setting it up for a hopeful/optimistic ending.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

The visual I want most in this movie is Batman bloody and mangled up like Keaton at the end of '89 , or worse. In 6 movies it's only happened once but I think it really boosts the emotion. Imagine the Pruitt fight with Joker and instead of Joke just going off on him, we got slow hits with blood and painful cries and damage to the suit.

You need to see "Batman: Under the Red Hood"

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

And Batman should have a gun and shoot him.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I think Batman should die at the end of this one while saving the day. Can you imagine that!!!

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

But Bruce Wayne can....:lol

I was thinking, bale is a better batman in begins and a better wayne in the dark knight. This either means hes got this ____ in the next one, or he's gonna spurt another personality. batmite. :panic:

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

He's just using that as an example that he's been left in the dark about the movie.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

So much for Bale's original comment that he'd play Batman until he's old and gray after Batman Begins. Although I would be surprised if the title was actually not The Dark Knight Rises and Nolan was ____ing with us but then again I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I get the impression that if Nolan kept doing Batman, so would Bale, I think it's doind Batman with Nolan more than the character that he likes, but maybe after TDK he's seen what the fandom can be like and doesn't want too much of it.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Sam Ramii was ready to milk the Spider Man cow as long as the audience was buying tickets.

Nolan's larger story will have a beginning and an definite end.

Far better IMHO.
