i know the pic you are talking about....not sure why companies think a super zoom is the way to go. God bless the Japanese devs, they do things truly old school; but that's an issue. Gotta update for modern times.

Yeah but I just hope in a patch they give us the option to choose the camera style, it cant be that hard as they have already implemented it before right?

Combat is not that hard, nor bad, imo. Sorry you are not digging this one Kiva. To me its RE4 part 2 as far as controls go. From what I remember, they play very similarly.
This game completely lies about what its going to be from the beginning. You start off slow, you learn stealth kills. Then you go to a town where if you can stealth kill its great. But you must fight too. Then after a few hours you never get a chance to stealth kill. Its just hordes of enemies one after another. Then big enemies thrown in. And " bosses " that cant die while you run around like an idiot trying to complete and objective that you know what to do but its complete luck that you need to actually do it.

Evil within ? Resident Evil? Evil within is no way close. No way close to Re 6. Id happily lay on the ground dying while my ai partner is running away from me in Re 6 than i am in this game. And im saying this as a guy who pre-ordered the game on day 1 of it being anywhere online to pre order.

Well, gonna finish this game before I can really comment, but I appreciate your pov......I do see what you mean about stealth - it has become harder to pull off

Just finished Chapter 9... man they really don't give you **** for ammo (or pretty much anything useful) as the game goes on.

if he thinks the controls are ****...hes probably one of those who think the controls in the classic RE games were **** too...my 2 cents

yeah the Camera needs to be a bit further from his back .. and they need to give us an option to get rid of the black bars that are on top and Bottom of the screen .. don't think i can rely on the TV Screen Size setting

they need to update it so there's an option for this.

Do you think its a likely possibility they will give this option in a patch, or am I being too hopeful? Will the developers come out with a comment like, sorry
were not changing it as its the retarded way we want it to be played, we are not giving anyone the option to choose how to play, even though you have just spent £45 on it.

No idea, it's really up to them, but it would be an easy patch I think, they already had the mechanic there. It would be nice to just have it as an option. I don't really mine the black bars, but the shooting needs work.

Yeah your right the shooting really needs some work, the black bars I can live with and doesn't bother me anywhere near as much.

Combat is ok IMO. Game is not scary in the slightest and that is the most disappointing aspect for me.

It can be on certain parts; what sucks is trying to follow the story. Doesn't feel linear, coherent, or even going anywhere. Just when you think it's revving up, you get stopped hard.

Nobody understood a single thing about Silent Hill until the end, just a bunch of crazy **** happening. Same with Resident Evil back then.

But now everybody wants to be told the story from the get-go. Da **** is going on with you gamers.

Actually, anything silent hill and resident evil were super straight forward games. :lol The question is what's wrong with this game.
