So when did this get back to being rated R? I saw a TV spot yesterday and it said rated R. I cheered and scratched my head because of the report this was going to be PG 13 so long ago.

^ Agreed. But from what I hear, they used squibs, and in that clip where Stallone uses his finger to pretend shoot, you can clearly see squibs, and not action essentials blood.

^ That would be expectational.
If I'm remembering this correctly (and there's always a chance I'm not) I seem to recall AintItCool running stories about the original idea for Expendables 2 having something to do with a Predator-style sci-fi villian. It wasn't literally the Predator, but it was a similar idea.

I mean, having the actual Predator could work. But the thing is, it would have to be done with more care then these movies are used too.
Because regardless, it's still a Predator movie. And it needs good characters, good action, and respect to the monster.
