Just got my Second Chance Faramir Exclusive. Looks like my paint apps are pretty good.

Great pick up! I used my points on the second chance also. looks like he does have the bad beard paint ap though so it looks like the majority of the ones. i think it looks fine if you're not standing really close to it. i'm going for a repaint on mine at some point.

Wow! What a terrific pose! And that paint job actually looks pretty good! I wouldn't have been half as upset if mine had turned out like that!




Of course, I wouldn't have gotten a Figuremaster repaint either, so it turned out ok.

Thanks. It wasn't quite what I wanted, because I couldn't drop the stand low enough to get him all the way to his knee, but it turned out okay.

What I continue to be amazed by is the overall quality of the LOTR 12" pieces, and how they really do blend naturally with the SS/W statues when displayed together. I'll get some pics later today to illustrate my point.

Boromir comes in on Monday, then it's quits for me for a while. I lost control there after selling a bunch of stuff, and wanted to replace it. Money = burning holes, you know?

Still, I'm now a 12" figure collector, and not a PF collector. The figures are easier to afford.

And i am still waiting for my Faramir exclusive. Sideshow please help me.
It's now almost 4 months ago that i have the tracking number.

I have send 4 emails to Sideshow, but still no Faramir.
GLS has send it back i july when i was on hollyday. And Parcelforce has send it back to the sender. But the sender (Sideshow) has never receive it.
GLS told me that they have send it back to Parcelforce and Parcelforce told me no it is still by GLS ect ect.

Pffffff, 4 months now.

Just got my Faramir today ... great figure and the paint aps look fine... In fact I probably like Faramirs paint job better then I like his brothers
