Finally had a chance to look at the list of what the extended scenes will be on the Battle of the Five Armies...cant wait

Any word about the release date? I'm really looking forward to the Trilogy Extended!

Axe removed from Bifur's head, ...Bilbo and Bofur talk about the Arkenstone,.., Smaug destroys the windlance,...More Galadriel,... More Thorin and company with gold,... only scene that I heard is questionable is Bard becoming King/Lord of Dale...again I hope all the above is true...I think they would improve the picture very greatly...I would bet that the EE gets released in Nov...30 extra minutes is a lot of footage

Thanks for that. Sounds pretty good, great that Beorn is getting some more screen time and that we finally get to see some of the key missing scenes from the end of the film.

I hope that list of scenes is accurate as well. I think the movie could have really benefited from most of that list, especially the funeral of Thorin, Fili & Kili. Considering this was the shortest running time of the three movies, I don't see why some of this was left out and yet there's so much screen time wasted on Alfrid. I would have expected stuff like that to have been in the EE and not the other way around.
