Good to see this film still going strong. I Liked this one alot more than the first and im guessing everyone else does to.

The Shot of them running off into the Forrest gave me goosebumps when I saw it in the theatre. The entire Amon-Hen part is my favorite part of any of the films.

I was very lucky to not know anything about the story details or anything else in the film before going to see it. FOTR is still one of the best movie going experiences I've ever had.

Same, I never heard of LOTR before I saw FOTR in the cinema with my family when I was 9. The movie introduced me to Tolkien's Middle-Earth. I cherish those movies the same way Star Wars fans recall seeing A New Hope for the first time.

Yes, exactly. The only other movies that blew me away when I saw them was Saving Private ryan(the opening 30 minutes) and Jurassic Park.

You could hear a pin drop in the audience, and when my friend and I were walking out I could hear other people saying "That's the best movie 've seen this year"

There are so many new movies coming out this Christmas that they probably had to drop it. I'm sure you'll see The Hobbit on less screens tomorrow too.

LOL at Corporate America afraid to say Merry Christmas.

My job is a big no no :nono with saying Merry Christmas, even to those that follow it. :lol

Well, in their defense, they don't say Merry Christmas over there and Happy Holidays covers everyone.

I think it's BS not to say it in the US though. If people don't like it.....

Just noticed the two theaters close to me have cut screens and showing for the Hobbit to make room for the load of movies coming out today. One of theater only has it on for two showings at night. The other has the 2D for 4 showings and 3D for one.

Hopefully all these movies coming out today doesn't hurt it's box office. I would love to see it #1 again this week despite that.

I'm going possibly tomorrow or this weekend.

Lots of movies coming out today. I expect its numbers to still be really good. My next two trips to the theater will be for saving mr banks and 47 ronin then another DOS viewing.
