I still say they used more in this one due to scale.

That's why I've said before I think people forget how much cgi was used when they weren't on location.

There are multiple Orcs and Goblin were. You also had several that were in the body but a cgi head. Yazneg was and his gang were also guys in suits and Yazneg was originally going to be Azog but he's not really big enough. So in order to do Azog properly they went CGI and also because it was a little later in the process. His son Bolg is a guy in a suit.
