I was hoping to see Aliens Ripley with the Power Loader, but Alien Ripley has been such a disaster that I doubt the other one will get released. I was really hoping for a Big Chap 2.0 too.

****ing Riply, Endoskeleton, Wonder Woman, and Drax have all been delayed to the point that I can't remember which ones I ordered.

Ripley will be a shelf warmer, I'm sure.

You'll probably see pube head Ripley in the Loader when you go to SDCC... and it still won't go up for order.

No ****. I'm gonna be pissed if it's there and hasn't gone up for PO.

Hot Toys' treatment of classic films licenses is starting to really piss me off. They had a pretty-much perfect Alien Ripley prototype ready to go, what, 2-3 years ago? Delay it constantly to make the face successively less alive-looking and less Sigourney Weaver-looking. Then can't even be bothered to put it out on time. No new Big Chap. Powerloader they still haven't solicited is just a new barebones figure with a recycled decade-old 'loader mould. No classic T800 endo, but that POS from Genisysysys that's now been delayed for something like five months. No more OT Star Wars releases, just endless recycled 'troopers and figures of second-stringers from Rogue One. Maddening.

To be honest, the hobby in general is pissing me off at this point. I refuse to give Mezco another penny of my money after what they pulled with classic Punisher. SH Figuarts quality has gone from miniature Hot Toys to circling the pan in less than two years, if the last few figures I've had from them are anything to go by. Prices keep rising despite oil being at all-time lows, less accessories, less quality, manufactured scarcity bull**** to drive demand. Seriously thinking about having a massive collection purge, maybe even getting shot of all of it barring a couple of truly beloved items.

The way things are going with figures is why I've been ordering more statues. A couple companies are trying--like Blitzway with Ghostbusters and Big Chief with James Bond--but, for the most part, the 1/6 scale hobby has been following a horrible trend. The rising prices, lack of accessories, and bombardment of figures I'm not interested in (I'm looking at you Iron Man and Star Wars) have made me look elsewhere for my collector fix.

Also, Mezco can eat a big bag of dicks with how they handled the Classic Punisher figure. That should have been a wide release figure. Even if it were limited, they should have announced that well ahead of preorder. So far, I've only bought Armored Batman, 2 Dredds, and BvS Superman (which should be here soon) but I'm rethinking ordering anything else from them due to the ******** they pulled.

I'm thinking about looking further into 1000toys' synthetic human stuff after being so pleasantly surprised with the 1/12 version. First figure I've had in two years where I've actually picked the thing up every few hours and played with it as opposed to finding a pose and stuffing it into a shelf or Detolf to never be touched again. Something very pleasing about the clean, simple design and I appreciate anything that's well-made and original. It's why I liked ThreeA back in the early days, it was nice to get quality toys that existed for their own sake and not as an arm of a monolithic pre-existing media franchise.

I agree about Mezco. They're probably bitter people reacted more positively to the figure that looked like it had stepped off the comic page than the ones with "Mez Flair" :lol:rotfl

Ya know, I'd prefer their 2nd rooted hair prototype over the idealized crap were getting.

I've really enjoyed seeing what they've been putting out, but that EX Punisher is the first one I truly thought about picking up. But with it being that hard to find, I don't want to pursue it.

I hope they end up reissuing Classic Punisher later. Maybe do a mega-pack with a ton of weapons like the other one they did.

Got my Robin and Superman WB maquettes in! :rock Batman is on his way too!
