Getting up in the morning to work out is tough. I used to get up at 5:30am and go to the gym. After a couple weeks I just couldn't keep up the motivation to get up that early.

Yeah it's tough, but I got more energy honestly to get it done early rather then get it done 8 hours later after work. I have more of a chance to not skip a workout where as after work I have been doing it quite a lot lately.

Spring forward this weekend won't help. ugh.

I'm glad I got a three day weekend for that BS.

You work out at 6 now? I was thinking of working out early, since I find that working out at 4pm is a bit unproductive for me. :lol

Yeah I've been doing the afternoon shift for years now :lol

Saturday is my rest day, but when I do Sundays, I typically get up at 9:30 and start around 10:30. There's equity in not having to do jack **** when I get home from work now though.

I need to get into some sort of exercise routine again. I'm on a new medication for my back pain and of course one of the side effects is weight gain.

How long do you work out in the morning? I might as well incorporate some kind of routine since I've been waking up at 5 for the past 2 months now. :lol

I keep seeing ads for "Over 40 Abs" on my ****ing Facebook. :lol I know it's harder to get back into shape as you get older, but how the **** do they know that I'm out of shape and over 40?

My metabolism isn't what it used to be. I've definitely noticed it's harder for me to trim down. Also doesn't help I can't do proper cardio since my knee is still ****ed up.

it 100% gets ridiculous as you get older... it's like a switch or something goes off at! 40 kicked my nutz in!

I miss being cut and shredded looking like 6 years ago :lol

I could probably do it again, but I can't really do any standing cardio circuits... I'm stuck doing boxing circuits in my chair :lol

yeah i feel you! i remember those days... nowadays if i can fit into my work pants i'm calling it a win! lol

I think I was in my best shape from 24-low 30's--then everything went to ****. :lol When my back really started causing problems I just wasn't able to be as active. If I have to rely on watching what I eat to lose weight then I'm screwed.
