was screwing around w/ my mask yesterday... they skimped and should have given some accessories... so i made a couple i wished they included...
sewed together a money bag from the bank robbery scene... and printed off a bunch of $$ and assembled a couple money fans for the club scene... really impressed w/ the display options and versatility of this guy!

You get put into a lottery and hope your name comes up before they sell out. This weekend is for people that went last year. They'll do another sale later that allows anyone to try for tickets. It's awful and I've sat at the computer many times and not gotten anything. I've been lucky the last two years and am hoping the streak continues.

Wow that's insane! I always knew it was big from seeing pictures and videos, but never knew it was a sell out event! Being at about the furthest possible distance away from where I'm at in the US... never had the opportunity to go! Hope it works out for you!

The figure is stock. It is the new 2.0 version of the Mask from Asmus. The figure is extremely well done and very detailed! They head sculpt is dead on. I highly recommend it if you're a fan of the Mask. Only thing I customized was making a few accessories for it that were not included that I wanted. (The moneybag and the fan stack of cash. )

Damn, that Prime Berserk statue is $999.

Not liking it either. Quality and art direction is great but I just think he never looked anything close to that in the face... especially the smirking face. I don't see how any legit Berserk fan can think that is the be all end all representation of Guts.

I have a feeling it's going to sell well though. Not enough Berserk merchandise out there for the fans. Hell, I'd probably get it if it wasn't $1k just to have a Berserk statue on my shelf. Prices are too high though now--gotta pick and choose the stuff I really want.

Not yet. It'll probably start shipping after the movie comes out and HT announces the new figure from the film. Then everyone will cancel their order and get the new one instead.
