whats in namE:wink1:

There the studio (formerly Stan Winston - Google it) design the Hulk or any other statues that has the name Legacy. SSC has nothing to do with the design element of this statue. That is why this statue cost more then your average statue. Your paying that extra premium.

I can't understand why people don't gasp that concept :dunno
I don't know either.:monkey1

anyone know if this hulk is a recast or original custom? looks really good i like

Custom

Ah, so this 'Maquette' is indeed not 1:4 scale.
Looks more 1:5 anyway.

From pics I've seen from SDCC it looks 1/4 to me. :huh

Check out the size comparison Aslan made up earlier in this thread. Not exactly accurate but close enough.

a small size comparison from me... ca. 70-71cm I think he will have :)

The 2 BW are completely different sizes :lol
I'm getting it just want an ES and as big as possible!
Looks 26" to me, should be bigger if true 1:4.
The base is at least 3" at the front

So much BullS#!t on this thread. If you can justify buying it buy it, if not don't. It really is a great sculpt but I have to wait on buying this as Hulk is not my #1 priority right now.

I'm going to buy it but thankfully locally as it will work out cheaper. Can't wait have been waiting for this statue for ages :)

If this has a closed ES, I will order it day 1. If it has an open ES, I will wait until I see in hand pics to pick it up. There will be no hurry to buy if it's an open ES. I'll be able to see other peeps pics and wait to see if QC holds up on this piece before I commit to buy.

That all being said, I REALLY hope this turns out to be a closed ES. I HATE the idea of open ES on ANY piece I have in my collection.

The problem is you can't even be sure this will a closed ES even if they put Limited Edition: TBD on day1.

I placed my order for Galactus Maquette on day1 and I know for sure on day 1 they put Limited Edition: TBD (everybody thought that one would have a closed ES), few days later they changed it to "limited edition" and droped the TBD, and sure enough that one has been confirmed will be an open ES (I called Sideshow CS and asked Sideshow Rep at the Con).

Couple days ago we just found out Sideshow also changed Limited Edition: TBD to just "Limited Edition" for Dark Rider of Mordor PF (regular version) after a few weeks or maybe a few months after the item was up for order with TBD limited edition tag.

So tomorrow if you see Limited Edition: TBD that does not guarantee this WILL have a closed ES. Sideshow could change it anytime they want, which is not cool especially when NRD involves.
