I don't think Colossus is a good comparison because it's not done by legacy. Remember Neytiri maquette done by legacy is a freakin $1600.

The price on this Hulk will be more than war machine almost guarantee. I think people under estimate the size on this one, he looks much bigger than Destroyer.

Hope they will price him less than 1k and more importantly put a close ES. The only thing that will stop me from buying this if they put an open ES (just like they did with $1k war machine life size bust, which also done by legacy).

What was the edition number on Neytiri? Her price had to be super high like that I think because there are only a few out there who want high end Avatar statues. So they did not make to many. I gurantee the Avatar fans that cried at the end and got depressed because it was not a real world don't have enough money for high end pieces so this was made for the true fan/collector.

Hulk being much cooler and way more popular should be the price down because they can make more and more will be willing to buy it.

I am guessing around the 700.00 price range but I really don't know anything

I did the same thing. I sold off almost all of my smaller Bowen Hulks and my Hard Hero Hulk to get ready for this and the R2 and 3PO PF. I am sitting pretty on a large sum of cash waiting for SS to make an anouncement.

Ok. I just went and looked at it. Here was something I was not aware of. Neytiri is considered to be a LSF. So that changes everything. Hulk has been called a maquette not a LSF.

So Hulk won't even be close to that price.

Still as far as LSF go she is a tad cheaper then the others. Must be SS was aware that nobody would really want it. But it was already in production so they decided to finish it and count their loses.

After all I have to assume that people are starting to understand that Avatar is not that good of a movie......

Ex. or no Ex., I don't think I'll be buying anymore SSC statues from secondary retailers. So all other things being constant, I'll probably just go for exclusives, even if it is a pointless exclusive I have no use for like a print or nameplate. Too many QC issues recently for me to order from other companies. Unfortunately, my recent issue with the Terminator PF (QC problems that took over a month to manifest themselves so Sideshow is forcing me to foot the bill to return it and probably won't return my initial shipping cost) is actually making me question how many Sideshow statues I'll be buying at all in the future.

I've gotta admit, I don't understand what you mean here. If facts are not skewed, then how are they misleading? And what does a false rumor reveal except that someone likes pulling something out of their ass and treating it as if it's true?

Well Sideshow called Neytiri a Maquette before they changed it to LSF.

Yeah I don't think the price will be closed to $1600 maybe half of it, but do you really think Neytiri is much bigger than Hulk Maquette?

I know Neytiri has more detail but they probably need more resin to make Hulk than Neytiri.

Bottom line is there is no way this will be $550 or less. People who think he will be in that price should prepare for a dissapointment.

I hope I am wrong though but I doubt it.
