i think this will be closer in price to iron man and warmachine maquette, it may be a little larger but it doesnt have as detailed a base and it doesnt need as much engineering etc. Because theres no lights

It might be a little more just because it's Hulk, but other than that. I agree, I can't see it being much more than those two Legacy pieces. I think it's comical you have some on here saying a $1000 for a PF size figure...

Ah, the naivety of youth. I once thought as you did, back in the civilized era before the Neytiri Maquette and 1/4 scale Wolf Predator....

Destroyer Maquette and Mark VI were $500, War Machine was $550. Hulk is big, but doesn't require the detail of mechs like IM and WM. Even with size I can't see paying more than the other maquettes.

But let's be careful with the price speculation. Lately it seems board consensus on prices have been scarily accurate...coincidence? Of course SSC as a business does cost estimates well before the preorder even hits us, but I truly believe they use the boards to gauge the maximum they can charge us compared to their cost figure. In other words if we prep ourselves to pay more by saying this will have an absurd price, SSC might charge an absurd price. I'm sure someone from there examines the boards and reads what we say about prices. But that's just my theory, I could be wrong.

I agree 1000%, ....huh, or is that $1000.00?! Not only do I believe your theory, but voiced the same concerns many months ago.

Truly foolish to show our spending threshold on a site that is dedicated to the company & products in question.

And once again, for those who believe SS doesn't really take stock of what is said on these boards? BULL!!! If they are not, someone is not doing their job at SS, which was a possibility in the past. But recent exaggerated price increases point to a very aggressive, & hard to justify, new strategy on SS part. Which should make us ALL wonder on how SS would have the balls to even attempt this wacked-out pricing strategy???????!!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding though, I really didn't mean that as a serious dig, I just remember being shocked assuming that a 1/4 Neytiri would probably come in at $800-$1000 compared to a normal $350 PF and was completely blown away when they announced $1600.

Honestly looking that Legacy I would imagine that their Hulk will come in at around $600 and what's funny is that people are estimating so high they'll be relieved with it even though it'll be about the size of the original Hulk PF or Skaar.

They may also make it smaller as they did with the Destroyer which originally was the same size as the IM 1:2.
