Boy, I agree with you here!

Some of these collector's like paying stupid amounts of money for these newer statues. The $2000 asking price for the open ES Wolf LSF, is just plain asinine... Really this is the way I feel about the whole 1/2 line, but the Wolf LSF just takes the cake. Now I wouldn't mind paying $800 for this Hulk if it was limited to 500 (with ES being told up front) pieces total, but we know that's not going to be the case.

I agree, I wouldn't be surprised if the order numbers are so low that the line is discontinued in short order. SS isn't the only one doing it though, those little Gentle Giant Marvel statues are priced more than double than where I value them.

It doesn't matter to me if they want to charge $800 or $1000 for this new Hulk. I'm not paying it no matter what. I've been in this hobby to long now and it has become increasingly easier to pass on any of these statues. I don't see any statue that's coming out today that's worth paying that kind of money for, but I guess if you guys like paying that kind of money for a mass produced statue. Be my guess. I know one thing, I won't be disappointed at the price point. I have a price limit and there's nothing that's going to budge me off that price point. Once these statue start coming out at these suggested prices..."I'm done!" There's always something else out there to collect.

All this talk of prices is really stupid knowing that SS looks at these boards. The problem is, people will buy at whatever price. Just look at the Wolf LSF. People are paying $2000 for a 1/4 scale maquette.

I think baseball cards got phased out with the boom of the internet and everything becoming digital. As for this hulk, can I preorder already!

$600 is a reasonable price, but I have a feeling this will be more, hope it's not much more.

This will be hard to resist regardless of its price. I have IM and WM maquette. I ordered Cap, Thor and Black Widow PF. This will be a must have for me. Avengers needs Hulk in the team

He's big, but he aint lightin up, he aint ultra detailed, and he aint doing anything fancy for him to even be $600.

My focus is X-Men & Avengers comic version PFs, but I feel a movie Hulk isn't much different from what's in the comics. It's not like Hulk doesn't change from artist to artist anyway, he's always the closest comic-to-screen conversion (even though his face tends to reflect the actor) so I'd display this with other 1/4 comic Avengers. But even with that, the comic book Avengers went without Hulk for 49 years (1963-2012). Until this month in the comics, Hulk and Cap had never even been Avengers at the same time, except for Ultimate Marvel. So if I pass on this, oh well.

Size & the "Legacy" name attached to it.
From the pictures, it seems to capture the character on screen & I don't know how much more you can get "ultra detailed" with a character such as the Hulk since it's basically just a green big muscular guy.

It depends on how this thing looks in the preview pics, ES, EX possibilities, and my cash flow at the time of the preorder. I could swing 1K but don't want to. I haven't dropped that much on a statue yet. anywhere up to $600-700 is a no brainer though. Really love how this is looking, the size of the piece, and I need a Hulk in my collection!
