As I recall, River Phoenix had already gone through puberty and was adult height.

It's okay. I'm not planning on buying it but if it comes out 6 months or more before the Sideshow version, I'll probably get both.

So Hasbro has a 1:6 Indy coming....hmmm. This is all wrong. I'd predicted multiple competing Indy figures, but they were supposed to come from Sideshow, Hot Toys and Enterbay. Not Hasbro. I didn't reckon on that.

(*shakes crystal ball furiously*)

Sideshow, Hasbro, and....??

Along the lines of what Trev said, here's a shot of an Indy sculpt from Feng's website. He seems to be behind some recent Hot Toys sculpts. I just wonder....

Oh mah damn,if Hot Toys does Indiana Jones... :D

Hey, Gruff Old Bear...what is the URL for Feng's website? I really like the head sculpt of the smiling Indy. It really is a fresh perspective on Indy different than most of the serious faces we've seen on most all of the previous Indy head sculpts. Is it for sale on Feng's site? Let me know. Thanks! :D

The Hasbro head sculpt looks surprisingly good, but I know Sideshow will outshine Hasbro with their rendition.

Other then the adventure outfits:
-There's the Dig disguise Indy wears when using the staff of Ra to find the location of the Ark.
-There's the Nazi Uniform at the end of Raiders.
-There's two suits he wears in Raiders, one at the beginning and another just at the end in Washington.
-There's the tuxedo he wears at the beginning of Temple of Doom and I think another suit he wore during dinner.
-Theres a ceremony costume he wears when he is possessed in Temple of Doom.
-For Last Crusade, Two suits he wears at the beginning, one when he meets with Walter Donovan and one he wears in Venice during the boat chase.
-And lastly, a Boy Scout Indiana Jones portrayed by River Phoenix in the beginning of Crusade (The new child body would work perfectly for this version).

That's all I could think of off the top of my head, I might have missed a few.

there's the Dr. Jones teaching outfit and the zepplin waiter outfit also

I believe he's in Taiwan, so the language may be translatable through Babelfish or Google, but there don't seem to be prices on anything.

You'll see his repaint of the Sideshow Han there too.

Let us know what you learn about Feng's selling practices. :D

How about a a 1/6 representation of Indy's student with the "love you" written on her eyelids?:D

This guy Feng is scary good. He needs to be working for Hot Toys or Medicom. I know I wouldn't be able to afford his work.

Wow, now THAT'S Indy! Where can we get that sculpt? I'm tired of the neutral expressions.

I personally think the Sideshow sculpt is better, especially for a Raiders Indy. He was more driven and pissed off in that movie than smiling. The smiling sculpt is a great sculpt, but the first Indy figure in the Sideshow series should be a Raiders Indy, first film and all, and so far all the other Indy sculpts made have either had a weird "who farted"? look (toys Mccoy) or just not gotten the likeness right. That sideshow sculpt knocks them out of the park.

I hope since the Indy 12'' figures are retailing around $70 that they will give justice enough to give these head sculpts a better paint job. A lot of Sideshow proto sculpts look fantastic but when it comes down to the production run they just end up being disappointing.

I am looking forward to getting a Sideshow Indy but I am not getting my hopes up like I do when I hear Hot Toys is working on a licensed figure.

Perhaps Hot Toys might get the license to Indiana Jones. With the movie coming out, I’m sure Lucas will hand out some more licenses.

I have no doubt Sideshow will outdo it, but that Hasbro Indy is way better than I expected. I just thought they'd whack a crappy Ford head on their GI Joe Indy Disney exclusive. The more companies making 12" Indys, the better!

Wonder how this will affect the Toys McCoy version's value?

the robocop with the asian face is hilarious. but feng is very talented

Things are looking good for Indy stuff next year. Real good. I'm happy. :)
