there's the Dr. Jones teaching outfit and the zepplin waiter outfit also

I forgot about the waiter's outfit, thanks. However the suit I mentioned at the beginning of Raiders was the teaching outfit, unless he wore another suit in the beginning.

As I recall, River Phoenix had already gone through puberty and was adult height.
You might be right about that, but I remember him being a little short compared to the adults.

Ah, Steven, Harrison and Karen together again. What a treat to see the video of them at the Con. That was definitely the highlight of the event for me.

the robocop with the asian face is hilarious. but feng is very talented

Yes, I believe it is. Nice twist on the mini-me, isn't it? I agree that the smiling Indy face seems to lose something when painted up, but it does give you an idea of the possibilities for future variations from Sideshow.

The more companies making 12" Indys, the better!

Wonder how this will affect the Toys McCoy version's value?

Personally, I think its day is done. As a sort of Raiders "standard," Trev's sculpt has it beat six ways to Sunday. Take a close look at the mouth -- Trev captured that slight twist Ford always has. Can't wait for better shots to appear in the Production Blog.

The Toys McCoy head sculpt may be surpassed but the costume, real leather, die cast metal gun & gold plated idol won't be unless Hot Toys gets into the Indy business. It's nice though that there will finally be affordable 12" Indys.

Karen Allen looks great!

Trust me, Trevor's Indy sculpt blows Toys McCoy's out of the water... and I have no doubt that SSC will match the outfitting and detailing as well.

Adios to the reign of the Toys McCoy figure. :wave

You really think Sideshow is going to use real leather and die cast parts? I certainly hope so, but I doubt it as it would be cost prohibitive for them to do so. Still, I have no doubt that the SS Indy will :rock.

Hope they do knock the figure out of the park. The jacket for the Terminator was corner cut to death. Very cheap.

Wow, you're jumping the gun a bit, aren't you? Have you forgotten Sideshow's paint track record?

I've never been happy with any of the Indy sculpts in the past, but this Sideshow one even though it's just a proto, is a perfect Raiders Indy. Probably one of the best sculpts I've seen from Sideshow in years in my opinion. As for the paint job, if it's horrible, I'll repaint it, but I have faith that Sideshow will get this one right

Wow, I'm surprised how good Harrison Ford still looks for the role... he's now got a bit of a Pickard feeling. Older and wiser, but still able to kick your ass if need be.

Definitely getting more excited for this movie... and have they been keeping Karen in embalming fluid this whole time?!? How does she still look like that?

Definitely. Anytime Trevor sculpts a figure, we can all breathe a sigh of relief. You can tell, for every sculpt he's done (padme, obiwan, and indy), he's really worked hard to make the most accurate portrait he can possibly make.

Yes it was. I have an old "Relic Hunter" figure with diecast accessories and nicely done jacket and pants, etc. Worst comes to worst I'll just put those onto Sideshow's Indy....they already fit on the extra Han Solo I had originally planned to get customized.

My wife and I were saying the same thing--she doesn't look like she's aged very much at all in the nearly thirty years since Raiders! I just wonder how large her role is. I hope Marion does more than just show up at Indy's house to drop off Shia because of the court-ordered visitation rights.

That's a good call. SSC's outfit won't come close to the quality of the RH Outfit in tailoring or materials used.

I agree and think that the sculpt looks great....But, it's the PAINT JOB that I am worried about!

And, for the record...Karen Allen is not only still good looking, she is an absolutely sweetheart! I met her at Chiller Theatre last year and she was just darling! What a nice person! I am absolutely thrilled that she is returnjing. Marion really is the only woman for Indy! :monkey5

Karen Allen look fantastic, and Harrison looks great back in the costume. I'm looking forward to Indy 4 a bit more now, but that douche on the far left is just ruining most of my excitement.
