I'll be in the minority, and say that I hope TLOU 2 doesn't happen . For me, the original game was just too good, and I loved the open-ended nature of the ending. That said, a sequel would strive too hard to touch on the same level of emotional grit that we saw in TLOU; which is something that it may or may not be able to accomplish. If it happens to fall short on expectations, it would risk devaluing TLOU as just another cash-in that Sony needed to release.

Neil Druckmann created a masterpiece of profound storytelling, and the question I have is whether he'll be able to pull it off for a second time with a sequel. However, I'd rather not know the answer to that...

Yeah I'm going to pass, beyond my price budget. Eventually, a company will attempt them. Whether it be Hot Toys or some third party.

I would love figures from this game but unless they are closer to HT level pricing, I've got no shot.

I mean I understand the reasoning for these high prices, since it's all made from scratch. But aside from 1-2 customs that are a good year away that I'm waiting on, I'm pretty much done in the custom game. It's just too much to shell out.

I'm on lists for 2 customs at this point and still not sure how I'm planning to pay for them.... at least I have time.

I own 2 of iminime's earlier figures and love them. Denny & co. produce quality figures and are great to deal with...but I have to agree with you, anymore, $200 per figure is one thing, but when prices approach $500 - $700, it's game over for me.

Yeah the two I'm waiting on are one of a kind, and could be the end all be all of me even collecting. If anything arises in the future in the customs department, it would need to be something surreal for me to consider that kinda cash to put out.

The figures are really great, but for me as mostly a prop collector, I cannot spend $1000 plus international shipping on a set of two 1:6 figures, no matter how much I like them. Good luck to anyone getting them.

I think that the Joel sculpt is very nice. I'm with you all though on the 'there will be more' in the future. Especially with the buzz on the game and the fact that there is movie talk, etc. Hopefully we get video game Joel and Ellie before anyone does the silly movie versions.

I was going to get the Joel head, but I've spent enough on the custom I got. I'm done with it.

I was in the same boat as you with wanting to get just the joel head, but I've spend so much on my Joel, I'm happy with it. I'll hold out hope for cheaper licensed figures. BTW Snake, did you ever get that rifle from MonkeyDepot?

Me to. I look at it like this. The game is probaly around 20 hrs to beat so that is more than enough to grow and perfect a story somehow. I love these characters. They are to good to be just one and done. That's insane to me. I mainly just want Ellie to be the new Lara croft or Jill valentine.

They told me in January that the company doing it had a death in the family, and it slowed things down and it would go out in February. But it came and went, and I just asked for a refund. They gave it back to me instantly with no fuss.
