Drooling over those Mimban Stormtrooper customs every time i see them. Great job.

Exactly, a bit of random swapping of pieces wouldn't have been hard. Considering they use sponge applicators for the weathering it also wouldn't have been hard to change them up a bit, say every hour on their production shift or something. Anyway it is what it is.

There will be complaints no matter which way they went.

My plan is for each to have slightly different gear (possibly weapons too): bandolier, ammo pouch, 2nd belt (which was only for the unreleased version), etc. Each will have varying level of added weathering. Hopefully have my 224th Imperial Armorer Division shelf complete in the the next couple months.

Yeah same here. They look phenomenal. HT really is missing out on some easy money not making these. Most likely I?ll bite the bullet and get one of my remnants redone into a Mimban. I might even attempt the paint myself, and outsource the tarp like cloak/cape and additional part of the helmet

Just inboxed this guy and swapped buckets. Think I might remove some of the pee stains or at least tone them down some - too yellow and too dark - then replicate some of the distress markings onto the helmet. Gonna shelf it like this until I decide if I want to commit to this repaint but I think it looks much better.
Lighting is a bit off to give the stark white helmet less contrast.

Also noticed a new padded vest that the RO troopers didn?t have. Makes the articulation a bit hindered compared to the RO version.

What the heck? I never noticed they used the good helmets with the bad chest armor on the show. Like using high end dinnerware and drinking out of a plastic Big Gulp cup.

What helmet is that, the custom one?

Yeah it?s one of the SoloBones helmets.

Looks awesome DR.:clap

Thanks Tali. Still contemplating weathering up the helmet. As you know they are lot of work and even more work to make them look clean!

:lol
I initially thought all the Client?s troopers wore the ANH stunt helmets but after rewatching the scene in Ep.101 I spotted one trooper with the RO helmet when Djarin enters the Client?s hideout.

Yay! I guess that makes the R1 helmet on the HT figure movie accurate:)

This looks to be the precise Stormtrooper that HT was trying to replicate. All of the weathering lines up exactly. I was thinking they had just randomly decided where the armor should be scratched up, when in fact it was a meticulous recreation of a specific trooper on screen. Phenomenal attention to detail. :clap

Except the helmet doesn's look accurate, especially the eyes.

That looks fantastic Paul.

Looks like the Anovos helmet with weathering :wink1:

The Anovos is like the 1/6 HT - too smoothed up and sculpt lines too crisp to match the bumpy, softer look the OT helmets - so a lot of weathering is a good thing. The Anovos ears always look a little odd too.

It does seem like a quite broad selection of commercially available stormie helmets were used for filming Mando though - Anovos, RS, Hasbro, and presumably others via the onscreen fan troopers.
