Stunning figure on the shelf. I think the weathering looks great. Nice, tight joints. Only nits are the hands pop off too easily and there?s too much shine on the armor. Other than that there?s no complaints.

Someone in a FB group used some matte spray on the armor and it looked 100x better. It's definitely too shiny.

Ooo I?d love to see this. If you come across the pic again you should post it here.
I wonder if they used Dulcote.

Credit to Steve DiRose of Rogue One Sixth group on FB, fun group!
Maybe I exaggerated 100x better, but it at least makes it look a bit more desirable to me. He said later he took the armor off obviously where he could. He thought chest plate, cumber bun and cod piece were maybe glued together and couldn't get them off.
They were relatively shiny on screen
I don?t think it should be matte. Maybe more of a satin/semi gloss.
Most likely to give off subtle reflections. More appealing to the camera then a flat white trooper blending into the dark backgrounds.
Agreed.
I used a satin finish but doesn?t show up too well in the full figure shot.
(Modded bucket swap and some added some bits of weathering to better match the screen ref)
