Considering that this is being reported by everyone *but* LFL and RD I'm guessing that her introduction was going to be a Baby Yoda sized secret that someone spilled the beans on early. For all we know she'll end up being in every episode like BY was. Now I guess we know what Giancarlo Esposito was referring to when telling fans that he really enjoyed acting out the upcoming lightsaber duels.

Yeah no doubt this is a pretty big reveal and an even bigger blunder.

Maybe, but it does seem a little more than coincidence that this leaks and the Clone Wars episode released for this week is exactly about Ahsoka leaving the Jedi order and going to live in the underworld, disguising her Jedi power not to stand out etc (Level 1313 and all that). Sounds like the perfect place and time for an Ahsoka spin-off to me.

Disney likes to get people talking and speculating to get feedback if that could be a good idea or not. But of course that's only my speculation of course.

To me I don't know if it would be interesting enough. Although I suppose they could come up with all sorts of stories in that environment....

Very true same can be said for the Kevin Smith Daredevil in Spiderman 3 leak all done for feedback marketing in the disguise of geeks just speculating.

The dark side of the studio marketing is a pathway to many leaks some consider to be unnatural.

Yeah, and then when she meets Mando he's not so freaked out ("enemy sorcerer") until she slowly reveals she's a Jedi or something. Which works nicely for a cameo because she can give him some info and send Mando & co. on their way, leaving Ahsoka nicely introduced to the 80% of the audience who doesn't know who Ahsoka is.

Then D+ can do their spin-off based on audience response. It's the MCU way. I was really hoping for a meeting with Luke tho. Maybe Season 3 or part of big finale.:dunno
I hope they already contracted Sebastian Stan or are de-aging Hamill.:monkey3

Yeah, I was also keen to have Luke in there too. Maybe looking for Jedi relics or something and their paths cross.

Still, I guess Ahsoka has the edge on Luke as far as age/experience in the "Star Wars universe". If she has been in the Unknown Regions all this time, then I'd bet Yoda comes from there (otherwise we would have seen other Yoda species in Star Wars movies etc you would think). I'd even bet Ahsoka has seen them or even been to their world in the Unknown regions as a Force user.

It's alll very nice and convenient storywise. But of course just me totally speculating.

I'm sure that Hasbro is happy about the leak if it allows them to have Mando Ahsoka figures available day and date for the new season.

All I know is that she is known for effing guys to death she just made a stupid character super sexy so i?m all in lol

Men are afraid to enter so they prepare for weeks in a gym with performance enhancing supplements lol

I think she has a double hinged jaw and revoltech hip joints. :panic:

I’m sure Disney will dress her like Captain Marvel though and cover up her death star trench cleavage. :gah:

Pre-woke Disney Star Wars Weekends Ahsoka always looked pretty hot.

I miss the days of Pimp Chewie and slutty Leia and Padme, lol.

Yeah, but I agree! Would be a logical and smooth narrative as opposed to "stuff that happens 'coz we need it to happen". Also for the grand finale - whenever that is - that'd be the season I'd bring in a Luke meeting. I imagine it being Leia off being a central leader more or less, while Luke would've been more dealing with the mid and outer rim planets and greedy warlords etc, so an eventual run-in with Mando would make sense.
