For what it's worth; I never thought Ahsoka's eyes were big because they were "alien". They were big because she was a cartoon.

Since Ahsoka was defined by TCW I too would prefer that her live-action self honor that look. General Grievous started out as a cartoon but was CGI in live-action so I'd have no problem with Ahsoka being CGI enhanced as well. But then again I think that they're making a mistake by not using Eckstein's voice (unless RD somehow is allowing herself to be dubbed) so there are a couple of hurtles they need to overcome to not make her feel "off" when we finally see her.

At least I shouldn't have to worry about JJ going back to TROS and replacing Eckstein's voice with RD's at the end, lol.

She would be alot older during the time of 'The Mandalorian'. She wouldnt need the same voice necessarily. It is the same idea like Al Pacino said about him being scarface. Voice can change over time.

With production shut down on sets around the world, studios like Disney are being asked about upcoming seasons of highly anticipated shows and release dates for films. One show that won’t be affected is The Mandalorian, according to Disney’s CEO.

Like Black Widow, filming on The Mandalorian was finished before shelter-at-home orders went into place and shut down production, Chapek told CNBC. Post-production is able to continue and is currently ongoing, so “there will be no delay on Mandalorian,” Chapek said.

Nice to hear the new CEO confirm. Kudos to the artists working from home.

I’d love to see Mace brought back and given a proper death by Boba Fett. Luke survived everything that happened to Mace so it’s not far fetched that the fall didn’t kill him. Heck, the Clone Wars made it seem like the Jedi had zero fall damage

That shot in AotC set up so much Boba vs Mace that it was disappointing it never went beyond a quick clone wars episode. I’m sure SLJ would jump at that chance to come back and I’m pretty sure Daniel Logan has been pushing to come back and now that he’s older a true face off would be great. Heck, maybe they’ll tie it into Kenobi and make it a little more interesting than Ben scaring Sandpeople for twenty years.

Stahp my head is gonna explode with joy. Bo Katan is a fav of mine. This just keeps getting better and better. Except for the wallet as that's an HT must-have.

I'm not a fan of what's happened of course but after the Sequel Trilogy I think anything goes. There is no limit to retcons no matter how stupid or ridiculous. Want to bring Mace back from the dead? Why not?

Not wild about a nostalgia overload e.g. part of what I like about Mando is new characters on the board. Still, gonna trust that Favreau and Filoni know the value of keeping true to a central arc or a few arcs with rich character building, esp. since these episodes aren't that long anyway. Figure some of this is just to introduce characters who will get their own series later.

Because of Covid and maybe KK derailing stuff, the Disney+ lineup is mighty thin. Right when my year subscription expires. Which I will renew$$$. Even if half the time Disney+ app glitches on Firestick anyway.
