That would make for a great figure.

I can't wait to see how Fett is going to fit into this. I'm really hoping for some kind of redemption arc where he needs to be worthy of the armor again and becomes an ally. Maybe years of isolation in the Dune Sea made him see things differently. Or he could just be a **** and try reclaiming his armor from Mando by force. :lol He might see claiming the bounty on the child as his big return to notoriety.

Worthy of armor? Just a small reminder, he is no Mandalorian. So I guess he has some religion stuff shoved up in his ... :D

I guess it means The Mandalorian will be canonizing Boba Fett's voice from George Lucas' updated ESB. Can you and Khev cope with that, Jye? :lol

:lol :lol to all of the above, lol.

I don't think I can ever accept TM's voice in ESB as canon. If TM in Mando is awesome then I may just begrudgingly accept Fett having two different voices though. It wouldn't be the craziest thing in SW after Wedge being played by two different actors in the same movie, Palps having different voices from ESB to ROTJ, Alden Han, etc.

Don't forget original ESB Emperor bugged-eyed lady.

Yes.... Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesss.... Can it be done?

Hi this is jye’s wife he is lying to a-dev slash that 30% in half.

They probably have voice changers in those helmets come to think of it. I mean why not, seems like it'd be a useful thing.

It deserves all the credit it gets. For an hour I was able to forget the ****storm that we're in and I love it for that.

THIS:clap:goodpost:

I enjoy the show, don't get me wrong, but I couldn't help feel that it was pointless. Just like several episodes in the first season.

To a degree, it's already repeating itself. Felt very similar to the mid season episode last year. Where they helped the village defend themselves.

While I enjoy it, I feel like this show gets way too much credit. You guys complain about the movies using nostalgia and call backs, but don't complain about it on this show? Cause this show is just as, if not more guilty of that than the movies were.

This show speaks to me and think it's the total package (e.g. director, script, cast, arcs, characters, visuals, music, pacing, etc.). Not like I'm biased or anything.

But read some other comments like this and keep getting the feeling folks (some) can't let go of the feeling this should be like a movie - you get 2, 3 hours - maybe more if its a trilogy - and it's done. Even after Favreau has said the influence was Western serials.

Which for some stuff has consistently *&^% me off:pfft:; because u can't have a 15 hour movie, and IMO films like Infinity War suffered for it - there was hardly any time for Team Cap interaction and that blip Wakanda battle; even Last Jedi would have been improved if they'd kept the stuff they cut.

Was complaining to my bro about it and we agree there's too much need for instant gratification. Either that, or theater owners needed to overturn audiences so they could sell more snacks. So appreciate Mando and Child's journey and seeing different sides to this character; different facets of the SW universe.

Re the nostalgia etc. there's a huge audience watching this who may or may not even "get" there's callbacks. Maybe they weren't even born until after the OT. Some the callbacks are pretty obscure, too. For me just wasn't expecting - without knowing all the screen ratio technicalities - something I'd expect in a theater at 3:00 in the morning:monkey3. It was jaw-dropping - luved every second:clap:clap:clap. Really hoping the Marshall makes a re-appearance. It's nice Mando had a bro-interaction with someone who doesn't turn out to be a *&^%$. Even the way the both of them skidded to a landing on the cliff - srsly F & F outdid themselves.:clap

I said 'that's ****ing awesome!' out loud a few times watching the episode. All these things have been out there for years, speculated about in fan fiction and our imaginations, and we are getting them in live action. And tons of merchandise to boot. Thank you Favreau and Filoni!

Literally the only things I choose to accept from Lucas?s specialized OT are (I) Ian?s holographic emperor scene in ESB and (ii) TM?s voice as Boba. I thought those were actually good changes.

As for that recent episode of Mando - f?ing awesome. Loved it.

Holy crap the big talk I see spreading today is that Fett was that sand person sitting in the circle with Mando at the desert camp fire go look he is the one just staring at Mando sitting all stoic like.

Wasn’t Fett wearing a robe with sand people weapons! :panic:

A sand person with spurs lol

Yep. Since I'm into visuals - the way the sand liquified; best dragon I've seen since Smaug in the Hobbit films, the long shots combined with the music, that scene where Mando lands with the sand blowing up behind - but there's great character interaction too.

This show is gonna cost me a fortune - now I wanna order a premium 72" TV with a sound system upgrade.

Yeah, tho I still don't get the Boba fandom. More interested in Din D'jarin finally getting to another covert (Bo-Katan). Or running into some Mandalorians who made it off world.

Consensus seems to be 1)Mando and Boba should go one-on-one or 2) Bro team-up.

To be honest, I've given up trying to keep track of what's considered canon or not. I was more or less referring to whether Fett sees himself worthy or not. He appears to have given up to some extent. Otherwise, why didn't he already get his armor back from the Marshal?

Why do people have such an issue with Temeura Morrissons dub in ESB? Boba is literally a clone of Jango, of course he's going to sound the same, just so happened that George most likely hadn't figured out the clone backstory and casting at that point. It'd be worse if he'd just left the original voice whilst having Boba be a clone of Jango.
