Why do people have such an issue with Temeura Morrissons dub in ESB? Boba is literally a clone of Jango, of course he's going to sound the same, just so happened that George most likely hadn't figured out the clone backstory and casting at that point. It'd be worse if he'd just left the original voice whilst having Boba be a clone of Jango.

I agree that is a rather minor change but it's just one more example of GL *****ing with the content of what many of us consider to be cinematic classics. Updating space battle visuals such that they look good on modern screens is one thing, but adding scenes (Jabba talking with Han in ANH :slap), replacing actors (Ghost Anakin in ROTJ), Greedo shooting first, etc., etc. - none of these did ANYTHING to enhance the quality of the original trilogy. Now if he did these strictly as part of "Director's Cuts" while still making the originals available to us I'd have no problem, but he's basically wiped them from existence, which was a total d*ck move.

Just me, but honestly I really don't care about any of these changes and never really pay much attention to them whenever I rewatch the movies. I understand why people don't like them but I'm indifferent to them, they don't really add anything, but they don't really take away anything either.

They probably have voice changers in those helmets come to think of it. I mean why not, seems like it'd be a useful thing.

If I come to begrudgingly fully accept AOTC's reimagining of Fett's origin as canon then I'll still default to theatrical ESB as canon as well. I'm fine with him utilizing a voice changer in the OT (possibly due to the clone voices being so widely recognizable throughout the galaxy and him wanting to distance himself from his unnatural brothers) and then going back to his original voice after the majority of clones had died off.

It kind of seemed that Mando had a voice changer that he'd utilize when speaking with the sandpeople anyway so if that's the case Fett's helmet wouldn't be the first.

Holy crap the big talk I see spreading today is that Fett was that sand person sitting in the circle with Mando at the desert camp fire go look he is the one just staring at Mando sitting all stoic like.

Wasn?t Fett wearing a robe with sand people weapons! :panic:

Whoa....

Seriously? Wouldn't the other Sand People know there was an imposter in their midst?

Well old Ben did show that while clever they are still pretty easily duped, lol.

That would have been funny if Fett was the first sandperson at the cave entrance with the bantha. Then as the Krayt came for him instead he shouts "oh come on!" lol

I have to believe the ST was so bad and lowered the bar so low, an average episode like The Marshal comes off as a 10/10, even though it was probably more like a 7.5/10.

I dont know, most people have the ability to view and judge things seperately.

Although you might be on to something. That might explain how the ST has given some people the strange belief that it's weaknesses somehow make the PT half way decent. In reality one bad film does not fix the flaws of another.

OMG did anyone else notice that the Weequay bartender was the bartender from Deadwood? Ha ha ha please keep doing that Favreau and Filoni. I want every Deadwood actor by the end of the show please.

And I love how despite being friends for years Cobb simply calls him weequay. :lol What an endearing prick, lol. He's seriously one of the best new characters since the OT.

Can't wait to see what they do with Biehn.

He was actually Al Swearengen's right hand man, and the main muscle Dan. He also made an appearance in Justified as well. Pretty damn cool he made it into The Mandalorian with Olyphant as well!

Michael Biehn is hopefully gonna have as cool a character. Might finally get a HT sculpt of him that's licensed!

Ooo great point. As much as I adore him as a good guy, I would prefer it if in this he was an unhinged bad guy eg The Abyss

He does both with equal greatness. Man was a badass in Tombstone.

Well Tombstone was 27 years ago, so I'm tempering my expectations a bit. He's in his mid-60s now if I'm not mistaken, so I'm thinking more of a boss type like Herzog or Esposito rather than a gunslinger like Olyphant. Honestly, the last thing I recall him doing was that Bereavement horror movie with Alexandra Daddario about a decade ago, and he looked pretty grizzled in that. :lol

Yep he?s 64. He?s been playing lots of authority figures lately and he was decent as the sheriff in Planet Terror if memory serves me correct.
