I am still in awe that Mando had effects that were equal or better than most 300 milion dollar blockbuster movies.

What we witnessed is really a big deal.

History was made.

Best effects ever created specifically for the small screen.

Those effects really were no joke.

Disney is really depending on this show to succeed. It's the flagship program on Disney+. No Star Wars films on the horizon for years and I highly doubt Marvel will even come close to it's past success ever again.

While the world of entertainment at large is crashing down around us we are somehow getting new $300 millIon SW on a weekly basis.

Yep I'm okay with that, lol.

This ONE episode made S1 look out dated already lol

And great toys from it :yess:

Seriously bringing that person up again?

Yup where is Sass lol

I love how this show is somehow able to project the grandeur of $300 million IMAX epics while continuously utilizing super geek SW lore and never straying too far from Muppet Show/Holiday Special wackiness. Who knows how long this will last but for now at least it is definitely something special.

Me and jye getting ready to pull the trigger on that soft goods Jawa, lol.

WOW! Now I need to see this...

Wait -- this stopped me dead.

The PT is being rebooted in Mando lol

Seriously go watch Mace landing on the Geonosis battle field in AOTC after watching this episode yikes!

This episode was indeed wacky and epic all at the same time.

The best effects in season 1 seem tiny next to this bombastic episode

I feel like the wording there should have been ''never straying too far into Muppet Show/Holiday Special wackiness'' but I could be wrong.

I'll go with that. :duff

It does occasionally step over that line but never too far (no musical numbers obviously, lol) or for too long, just some quirky or questionably acted moments here and there that put a quick smile on my face or give me a good chuckle before getting back into the epic action/adventure.

What really helps to appreciate some of the wackier elements if you want to call them that is that Pedro's Mando is such a constant badass even on the rare occasion that he is the butt of a joke (like the instantly classic episode with the jawas from Season 1.)

Why did Fett wait all this time to go get his armor back.

Where has he been.

What has he been doing all this time.

Who has Slave 1.

Has he been in communication with any of the clones.

Based on what we saw probably off the grid either living with Sandpeople or living alone with gear he took from Sandpeople that he killed. I wonder how long they'll say he was being tortured inside the Sarlacc. It could have been several years for all we know. Maybe his mind was fried as if he suffered the Bor Gullet treatment and seeing Mando speeding by will remind him of who he was.

They'll probably say that the jawas found him, assumed he was dead, and stripped him of all his gear. Can you imagine if they do a full flashback showing the Sarlacc getting uprooted by the Krayt and ripped to shreds with Fett's near corpse tossed onto the sand? :thud:

Yup where is Sass lol

Thinking that *&&^% must be pushing out Bantha triplets after that episode, 'coz u shoot urself in the foot no Disney red carpet for u. Ever. :devil

Maybe Pascal will be kind and send her an autographed helmet from Party City. It's gotta be killing her another Y-tuber was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal.:lol
Like, a legit publication and not 'net trash.

Anyway, guessing the next few episodes will be quiet, more interpersonal, building to some huge finale. Good with that too; otherwise it's like watching Transformers. Moff Gideon is supposed to be more of a presence, so that will be fun (and who can say? Maybe Boba is already working for him on Tattooine re the boots - so will he or won't he give Mando up? Maybe through Season 3 he decides Gideon is a *&^% and changes sides, or something:lightsabe)
