I loved Olyphant as marshall in 'Justified', loved him as marshall in 'Deadwood'.
So I'm watching the episode, the marshall shows up, takes off the helmet, and it's Olyphant, again as a marshall :)
Perfect casting!

This week's episode can only disappoint after the feat we witnessed last week.

Great point going to be hard to top that.

I predict that Moff Gideon will send a Terminator-like hunter droid after Baby Yoda and Michael Biehn's character arrives (from the future? :lol) to help Mando take it down...

De-aged Luke on Ahch-To, lol.

If Biehn lands on Tatooine naked, stumbles across Dengar and says "give me your clothes" holy **** I am done :lol

Don't look at it like that tho; I need a palate cleanser. Gonna settle in and enjoy the ride. Am sure the season finale will be brain-melting:taz.

Banthas had a rough time in this episode. I felt really bad for the one that was saddled with the explosives - he did not want to be there and he saw his death coming[...]

Yeah, I must be getting soft in middle age because as cheap as life is in SW, I've noticed that nobody gets treated worse than animals in The Mandalorian.

Mando fed some animals a slow afoot one eyed gangster:dunno

There is that.

Let's see:

1 Mudhorn and its unborn offspring murdered for sport
2 Blurgs (1 blasted by Imperials, another carried off by a winged predator -- can't recall, was it more than that?)
2 Frogs (devoured alive -- arguably natural predator-prey but we know The Child can exist just fine on soup)
3 Banthas (2 used as bait, 1 taken in natural predator-prey interaction)
1 Krayt Dragon (murdered for inconveniently being there first and doing what Krayt Dragons do)

Did I miss anything?

Well dodged all spoiler and got to see it tonight.

It was a wonderful relief to watch something not sullied by politics.

Overall 7/10

Highs : Tim Olyphant! I had no idea he wa going to be in this! What a great surprise as he?s a favorite of mine.

Nice feel to the episode, great location shots, nice effects and sound. Story was predictable. I loved the story about how Fett?s armor was found.....

Now the bad stuff....

LOWS: Lool , I love F&F as much as the next geek, but enough with the constant call backs. I don?t need to be reshown ?memba this? every episode. New designs please, it?s a huge galaxy and we don?t have to keep revisiting Tatooine and every alien and their cousins in the OT.

On that note......why did they bring back Fett? I know fanboys have a raging boner for that character, god know why.....but honestly it just pandering at this point.

It help to know I hated Fett and the overblown hype surrounding him. If he was not the sneak peek figure he wouldn?t be so popular. If anything , the prequels should have totally destroyed the move people had for him. Kid Boba was a let down and annoying as hell. So he?s just another clone... YIPEE!

I will reserve jusdgement fully to see what they do with the character overall....but they should have made the mysterious Mandalorian and ACTUAL Mandalorian with his own story. Not some lame clone.

The child was a background character in this.

Did you really not watch this highly anticipated SW opening. :slap

It exceeded expectations.

Haven't even finished S1. :chase

Of all the episodes for "Prime Clone" to skip. :slap Imagine me not watching this episode and then it turned out to have a Captain America cameo, lol.

I know, it's ironic as Palps would say.

But don't joke about the inevitable SW/MCU crossover! :lecture
