I had asked this on Friday but I think my comment got lost in the shuffle unless I missed something.

How do you guys rank the episodes this season? Is there a consensus on best and worst episode for season 2? My favorite is still the season opener I think.

The finale has to be my favorite episode now and the first episode my second favorite. The worst was definitely the spider episode with frog lady but even that was plenty entertaining.

Last episode was my favorite but overall, the season wasn't as good as season 1 in my opinion. Take out the fan-service stuff and it's just not great.

Actually, I liked this season better than the first, the overall quality of the episodes was more consistent IMHO.
I think my favourite was The Believer, least favourite The Passenger.

Same for me. There are a few chapters in season one I have no desire to see again but I?ll happily sit and watch all of season 2 again.

The Believer was my favorite. Really good balance of action and character development.
The Passenger was my least favorite but still watchable.
The Jedi was just a blast to watch because of Ahsoka.

I just tried to rank all 8 episodes in order and it's really hard. I have to agree the quality is more consistent in the second season. I might try again tomorrow. But the finale is for sure my favorite.

Maybe. Maybe I built season 1 in my head to be better than it was. I just remember being more engulfed in the storyline, interested in seeing where this "child" story was going.

Who had the best tunnel scene? Vader in Rogue One or Luke in The Mandalorian?

I think Vader wins in the "bad-assery" department. However, the way TM concluded with its surprise was more epic. Plus, it was much more emotional seeing young Luke and the imagery of Luke with a Yoda-like creature was just beautiful to see.

The consistency of season 2 is what won me over. And it seemed to increase in quality all around. Even the music seemed more refined and on point to what was going on onscreen.

That opening scene in chapter 1 though...wow. Loved that. And seeing Morrison return as Boba was a definite highlight of the season. Then there’s Luke as a young but more experienced Jedi Knight in chapter 16. So cool.

The frog lady and her eggs having to be flown at 10mph was the weakest episode to me. Not a terrible one, but one I won't miss watching.

Yep. It was the weakest of the season but still better than a couple of the chapters in season 1 for me. I laughed everyone Grogu gobbled up an egg. :lol

1. Episode Luke Skywalker/Bye-Bye Grogu
2. Episode Bill Bur/Truck Chase
3. Episode Ahsoka

Yep, these are my top 3 as well. And despite the awesomeness of seeing Luke arrive and take out an entire platoon of Dark Troopers (OK, minus the ONE Mando eliminated lol), my top scene/sequence is still the ninja-in-the-mist opening of "The Jedi".

My favorite eps are:

1. RR Fett
2. Ahsoka
3. Luke
4. Krayt Dragon

Then a three way tie between truck chase, Bo Katan intro, and speeder bikes.

Frog Lady brings up the rear but I still found that to be an enjoyable ep as well.

Not a single stinker in the bunch.

My top 5:

1. Luke
2. Luke
3. Luke
4, Luke
5. Luke

I rewatched S1 it held up very well I was actually surprised it did.

The good stuff is still on par with season two, there are just three or so episodes that fall a bit short. But all of the episodes are still enjoyable.
