OK, new subject: Was anyone else slightly annoyed when Koska Reeves (or was it Bo-Katan?) was unharmed when Moff Gideon shot her from point-blank range on the bridge of his ship in the finale? I mean, MG was obviously fully aware that beskar armor would deflect any blaster fire, so why didn't he aim at a vulnerable spot? Their beskar only covers so much of their body. I think at some point a few of these characters need to show some vulnerability again. I don't think that's happened since the season 1 finale with Mando's head injury.
It was Bo-Katan, and she wasn't unharmed, she was visibly injured and in pain afterwards (you can see her limping in the background when Mando says to open the doors). He got her in the unarmoured spot on her leg.
He looks like a character pulled out of that show.. Not the actor himself.
Not just his look but his whole way of acting and all that.
Buffy and Angel had a lot of Harmless goofy monsters.. He fits that mold.

Crap, I already know the answer.
Watching this video it's hard to find fault with TM's take that Fett has certain "values" (though the extent of said values remains to be seen.) I mean here is sitting with Jeremy Bulloch, John Morton (who played Fett for the Lando staredown/"he's no good to me dead" scene), and ROTJ Fett stuntman Dicky Beer. He clearly holds the original actors in great respect and they're all telling him point blank that Fett is more "misunderstood" than evil. It's hard to fault the guy for following their lead and wanting to do the character right by them.
Bulloch's take was that he was just an amoral mercenary (as opposed to decidedly villainous) who just had a bit of a personal grudge against Solo. It's interesting to hear him say that there is a Slave One, Two, Three, and Four. I remember hearing or reading many years back that the reason his ship had a "One" in the title was because it was one of several. Man if Daniel Logan ever plays him again he definitely needs to be dubbed. That voice, lol.

Sure, why not? It's not like Mace Windu had to use the Force to hold his lightsaber while reflecting "unlimited Sith energy" back at Palpatine, so as the PT established that precedent we should all agree that Rey can too.
You do realize Palpatine wasn?t even trying at that moment... right? He was buying time and toying with him. As soon as he knew he had Anakin he fried Mace easily... but not Rey....
Really? He was perfectly fine having that energy reflected back at him to the point that he became deformed & ended up looking like the California Raisins' leper uncle? Spare me. Sure, he was still lying and scheming to turn Anakin, but in that moment it was primarily to save his own ass. And he didn't/couldn't kill Mace until dumb**** little orphan Ani cut off his hand, disarming him of his lightsaber in the process.
As for Rey, I stated in my back & forth with hellgrammite00 that I was in the "All the Sith vs. All the Jedi" camp with respect to her showdown with Palpatine, so it really didn't matter how many lightsabers she was holding - they were simply the focal point of the Force energy flowing through her.
This is by far my least fav scene in all of the PT because it is probably the most important. Its all so goofy. Its the worst light saber duel, its some of the worst acting which leads to Anakin's super fast turn to the dark side.. Nothing about it works for me. But that is not the point sorry... If you love it you love it.

Unless the palps knew Anakin was going to show up.. He was trying to beat mace.. And Mace was about to take him out. But lets say he knew Anakin would show up in time..
Well then he goes on his "No No No" tirade and shoots his force lightning at Mace were it reflects back at him and causes damage.. I guess you could say this was on purpose also.. But it seems he could have tried to convince Anakin without trying to "pretend" to try and kill Mace and take all that damage..
I guess again you could say that he was taking the damage so that Anakin could have sympathy for him.... However at no time do I think the Emperor was in a place to beat Mace. He needed Anakin.
Either way... its not the same as what Rey did in ROTS as I am with you in the "All the Sith vs All the Jedi" Camp.
