Nah, based on Filoni's fetish for the unkillable Ahsoka, and KK's female force, it'll be a retreat of the lame EG girlpower scene. Guess this explains why "the Mandalorian" is Bo-Katan now.:pfft:

Lead by a lineup of Ahsoka and Bo-katan, backed up by Fennec, with the obligatory Luke cameo, and Grogu toddling behind imitating him to sell more Grogu plushies. And space whales.

Along the way, Mando will have become a "sensitive and supportive man", ditched the Beskar, announcing this is her Way, and gets 30 seconds of screen time where he gets killed off heroically sacrificing himself to save Bo.

I was wise to keep my collectibles to Seasons 1 and 2. :stake *&^%$! This wasn't what I was hoping for, for this series at all. Not bloated superficial cartoons. :cuss
Worse, Filoni isn't some experienced live action director, as he said himself, so WTF are they thinking?
Oh my lord man, incel much?

I'll disagree - Carano was rapidly improving and at least was believable. IMO Lizzo was terrible, the episode was trope cuteness, shallow, and the best thing for me was a new planet and the city scenery. Can't see ever rewatching this cartoon episode.

If the Big Mouse wants to excise all potential off the camera controversy from it's Star Wars universe, for the sake of business reasons, I get that. I truly do. But they have to be consistent about it.

I think it's less imperative about Lizzo's quality as a potential actress or the issue of stunt casting, as much as a large cross section of the hard core Star Wars fanbase is already incited. Not just this last episode, but multiple properties in the current SW "universe" under KK.

This is not the time to take risks IMHO. If the point is making the best "product" to engage in pumping out the most dollars, then the logical play is to avoid all kinds of potential controversy. Keep it simple, keep it safe, keep it boring.

Kennedy seems intent in driving out two major shares of the potential fanbase. All adult men in one of those categories. And another group that could be as large as 75 million to 100 million strong across the country.

Pick a side and be consistent. It's the failure to do something that simple that shows the utter chaos all up and down the SW food chain.

Katherine Kennedy is responsible for this, then you have to say she is responsible for all the great content also….

You cant just blame the girl when you see something you do nit like, and guve credit to the “guy” when you see something you like…

If shes in charge, then she is responsible for all of it.

"I'm trying to think of a cliffhanger that would want me to watch season 4"
I can think of one….Ezra and Thrawn arrive from deep Space.

*turns off teevee completely*

If there is one SW thing I care less about than I do about Ezra Bridger, I cannot for the life of me think what that might be. Babu Frik's family reunion, maybe.

Compartmentalize all that over in the Ahsoka show, please.

Not being snarky, but why? Its a great story, lots of incredible stuff in that series….

Cause its a cartoon? I know alot of adults have a problem with that…

Ezra grew into a pretty good character, and S4 of Rebels has some incredible moments.
That's whats funny about Ahsoka and Ezra. Both were almost unlikable in the 1st seasons of thir shows, but by the end both become fan favorites and beloved characters.

Now, Omega on the other hand..... :lol

I long for her demise every episode. Way more than I ever disliked the others. Funny too since all this was done by Filloni.

I have the spoilers for upcoming episode if anyone wants to know:

Episode is titled “The Spies”
Moff Gideon has been using Mandalore as his base the entire time.
He has Praetorian guards with Mandalorian armour, he also has Mandalorian armour
IG-11 mech suit for Grogu is unfortunately real
Paz Vizsla dies in battle against Gideons forces
Din gets captured
Bo-Katan goes to rally more allies for help

To each their own of course. Ezra did have good character development over time but I still personally don't like him. Just not the kind of character I like.

But I personally think Omega is the best realized young adult character from the get go when directly compared to young Ahsoka and Ezra. Given time, I think she has the potential to have a very strong arc over the course of her life like Ahsoka.

Having seen a full rundown with additional details and cameos (no one major but a good one for EU fans), I think it'll be a strong episode. Seems like they're also still holding a lot back for the finale.

The season has been a mixed bag but I do still believe they can stick the landing.

The Grogu thing I just can’t imagine liking at all. There’s no way it doesn’t look ridiculous.

Yeah that... is weird to me as well, I agree.

I did hear it was a good silly and actually funny, but they were in an environment predisposed to positive hype already.

Doesn't seem like it's a huge part of it though. A lot happens in the 50 minutes.

If I had a problem with cartoons, why would I be watching TBB & TCW?

I have no problems with cartoons. I just think Ezra Bridger is an extraordinarily weak character. Not really that interested in Thrawn either, tbh. I tried to read the novel and just lost interest.

I hope it’s just a throwaway thing that they swiftly move on from.

I imagine it costs more to animate than a hover pram so I hope so too.

Kinda seemed like more of a plot device to help him communicate a bit. Shouldn't be a problem when he actually starts talking.

The more this show devolves more into cartoon territory the less I enjoy it. It’s fine for animation but not live action.

Lets go back to Din cutting people in half and roasting then alive whilst taking guys out from the shadows like space Batman.

Absolutely. I agree, the show should be more serious in tone.

I think this season primarily suffered from both the loss of Rangers of the New Republic to shift a lot of these plot threads onto and from Filoni being busy with Ahsoka.

I know some people just see him as cartoon man but I think Filoni has a better handle on separating the cartoony and the serious.

Too late to ever get back to the Din we liked to see.

The thud heard round the world on Wednesday was Lizzo flattening a bunch of sharks as she attempted to jump over them.

This show is done. It was truly lightning in a bottle when it started, but as soon as that sweet, sweet baby Yoda cash started rolling in, there was no way for it to survive.

I read the spoilers cause I no longer care about what happens. If true, that's going to be very silly. And I have no reason to think it's not true. This show has become parody.
