New OS looks interesting. Multitasking, *finally* but if I'm understanding correctly, it's still not true multitasking. Apple is just allowing certain background services to run and now developers can access those services through new APIs.

The new iPhone/iPod Touch OS is pretty good. Nothing amazing, but it's all a step forward.

iPad won't get the OS until fall, from what I've read.

I found an annoying glitch with the Comiczeal app if you have the bluetooth settings on you wont be able to synch to transfer your comics it keeps telling you "timed out" i was really frustrated, then a little googling and found out make sure its off.

I finally bought my first couple of Apps for my Pad. I broke down and went with Comic Reader Mobi based on the reviews that said it supports all known comic book formats. So far I've only managed to read a few pages of one of my books, but it is really great and I love the zoom function on it.

The other app I purchased is The Elements, and I love it so far. Very informative and fun to use so I think given enough time it'll become pretty popular amongst the science geeks. Hopefully it'll spawn educational apps like this.

Browsing on the web is awesome...super fast and smooth. Typing takes getting used to because its not a physical keyboard, and you're really not supposed to "peck" the keys...but after enough practice I'm getting pretty good with it. The finger swipes for the Apps is very precise and fluid depending on the settings for it.

How are you supposed to type if your fingers aren't meant to make contact with the iPad keys like a traditional keyboard.

I would go with this hands down. Seriously if I didn't have major expenses coming up this thing would be in my hands now and I would be on my couch with it.
