I hope that they have to replace mine a couple times. If so, I'll poop on its head just like I did to my MK3 1:1 bust.

No one listened to us whenever they posted the weight on this product, I was saying this from the get go....

It is a great piece just wish it had more solidness about it, I don't care about shipping cost and yes I'm more than capable of lifting a couple hundred pounds over my head. So make it solid and charge me the difference and we will call it a day.

If you paid $2000 what's another $500-$1000 more to fill this up with resin.

So true. I think they are more worried about the shipping cost internationally though (China -> US -> overseas customer etc). Still I think they overdid the cutting corners and thinned out the walls way too much.

I'm going to use mine as a giant cereal bowl.

I know Bruceelee over at SF. He's been having a mare with sideshow over this. They told him that they would let him use his money against the 1:2 endo as a one off and that he should not listen to forums because they can give the wrong impression. LOL. Photos of damaged pieces kind of paint a good enough picture. Ask him to post the e-mail response he got, its sideshow at thier absolute most condescending.

Not happy with the way SS are treating their customers as of late. They take a deposit from us and if the product does not match up to MINIMAL expectations they want us to forfeit our deposit??? who's to blame here?

How can they say that the photos do not represent their product when it IS their product. Are they saying their products have such inconsistency in quality that it isn't fair to measure one with the other?

From how thin the cast on the IM Maquette looks, it seems like if I grabbed it and gave it a shake, all its limbs will fall off. That warrants a refund of deposit imo. Seems like SS isn't losing out from this fiasco either...they're finally selling their 1:2 endo like hotcakes.

I was reading that thread as well, they also asked him to seek other forms of feedback as forums might not be an accurate representation. What other forms of feedback could there be more reliable than in hand pics from other forum members? The reviews on their site which they filter definitely don't paint a balanced picture. Very puzzling!

Solid/Heavy=Quality.. For the money this thing should be heavy duty.. total rip off.. How many times can IM fans be bent over by SS?.. However they seem to defend and enjoy their abuse...

Most of us here are smarter than that though.. I am not getting this statue even though I ultimately was saving up for it. What a shame sideshow is not stopping production to make it thicker and improve the quality of the paint..

AND they're treating their customers like _____ who are questioning them on it.. Check out the thread about it on SF.

Not even remotely interested in that piece simply due to principle, since we already have been made aware of the lack of quality.

I think this best represents some of the people defending Sideshow at all costs no matter what crap is given to them...

As long as people blindly accept sub standard items from sideshow things will never change.

ya I wanna see what happens to this guys nuts....probably cried like a little baby after that:lol

On a more serious note, im calling SS monday to cancel my order until futher notice. After looking at how dam thin this thing is....its not worth anything NEAR $2000 these guys are on drugs. I costs SS maybe $400-$500 to make these. Massively overpriced....

I'll stick with CM thank you...
hope your reading this SS

Chris

No disrespect, but who would risk a deposit on a Sideshow Iron Man with all the previous problems.
