So relax. Critics aren't wrong. You aren't wrong. You got 4 days. And you will find out for yourself.

Trolling post. I think so. Just sayin'
I don't know anyone who gives a rats ass about RT at all. The reviews that are coming out as a whole are like the one Os just posted. Talking very good about the film but saying it isn't perfect.
Yeah, people who have been studying film as an art form for years upon years should not be listened too.
Asinine.

I care very much about Rotten Tomatoes. I'd like to know which films, not on my radar, are worth my time and money.
That's why a critic exists. Now, you can say "OK, I missed this in the theater, and now I can watch it for free. Oh wow, that was a great film. But so glad I didn't pay for it.".
Struck a nerve did I
I'm just tempering my expectations.
People give a rat's ass about RT when it serves their purpose, and they don't when it doesn't. Just like any other rating site.
I hope Hobbit is at least half more decent than Dark Knight Rises was. If that is the case then I will be glad
RT generally points out how wide of an audience a movie appeals to. It's the reason family orientated movies often score well.
If there's one thing I learned from films as of late it's this, curb your expectations and enthusiasm and never pay attention to reviews. Think for yourself.
Critics don't ruin this ****, fan bois and message boards do.
You go in, you might like it, you might not. It's as simple as that. It's just a movie, who cares. Have fun . . . or don't. The choice is yours.
Les Mis is not for everyone...Hobbit is
" [M]ore than a bit like slogging through overly completeist volumes of fan fiction, and that is going to bore more casual moviegoers, and also some serious fans"
"Tolkien's brisk story of intrepid little hobbit Bilbo Baggins is drawn out and diluted by dispensable trimmings better left for DVD extras."
"As a lover of cinema, Jackson's film bored me rigid; as a lover of Tolkien, it broke my heart."
I know that everyone thinks people that review movies are F___ng ___holes but these reviews are making me worry a little bit. I am excited for the movie but they did have to extend the movie to become a trilogy.
The question in everyone's mind up to this point has always been how did they make the one book into 3 movies. Just makes me wonder how diluted it really was made.

The problem is, this film was shot using a terrible, terrible format. That is going to kill the movie, because no one is going to focus on the story when things look off, and cheap. I knew this would be terrible. I don't even need to see it. But I will.
But let's take that out of the equation. Maybe the film IS overly long, and dull. I know you jump onto knee jerk reactions, but you haven't seen the film, so you're using your own excitement to plug your ears and go "LA LA LA LA".
You might like it. Doesn't make the critics wrong, it's just showing a difference of opinion. The point of reading a critic is to help decide if a film is worth your time. If you're so hell bent on seeing it, then you're going to see it anyway, because it's way more important for that.
But maybe the critics will allow you to lower your expectations, and maybe enjoy the film more then you thought you would.
So relax. Critics aren't wrong. You aren't wrong. You got 4 days. And you will find out for yourself.
Critics hated both John Carter and Judge Dredd. Screw 'em!
