I've been watching this all day. Good god. I dunno how this move rated so low.

I suppose this being the first part of a whole, and I understand beginnings tend to be slow and what not, but I never or ever will get tired of this.

Wife and I both enjoyed it. 8 out of 10 for me. I will say that some of my fears of it being over extended for the sake of over extending are in the movie. No way should this be three parts. That said we liked it and can't wait for the other two.

You almost have to wait till you see all three parts to say that it can be in two. I honestly don't think the other two parts will have what some are calling "boring" bits.

I'm still convinced they could have made this in one good 3 hour movie. The LOTR books were made one a piece and could have been twice as long.

Meh whatever. I'm excited to watch them. Thanks Ween! Today was great!

It was a very quick 2 hour and 50 min adventure. Can't wait for the EE and 3 hours of this. :rock
