Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread *SPOILERS*

All I know is Azog is the biggest Orc ever on screen...bottom line

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread *SPOILERS*

He is one large Orc. I wouldn't want to cross him. :lol

It is.

But....then again, I thought this was a fake....

And I have to look at it every time I see that Blu Ray. :monkey4 WB sucks with marketing.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread *SPOILERS*

I like to have an order in my chaos. A random steelbook wouldn't fit.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread *SPOILERS*

I have The Avengers. But I don't plan on it. If I collected them early on, maybe. But not now. They're cool, but too out of place for me.

Update:

Total Lifetime Grosses

Domestic:$278,869,783 31.4%
+ Foreign:$608,000,000 68.6%

= Worldwide:$886,869,783

Won't be opening in China till Feb. 22nd, not sure about any other countries.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread *SPOILERS*

Yeah, once it opens up in China plus another few weeks here it should end up past 1 billion. It's a nice start to this trilogy.

Are there other countries it hasn't opened in yet that plan to?

I'm hoping to see it again this weekend. I have a four day weekend coming up and I'm going to have a ME day! :yess:

Outside of China I'm not sure. They're saying this should do 90-100 million in China. It should do that as 3D movies and USA big movies are doing well there recently. Titanic did $150 million in its re-release there in 3D.

I am thinking about seeing it this weekend as well. Make it my 5th and final trip. Unless they attach the DoS trailer to it before it leaves.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread *SPOILERS*

Picked up both The Hobbit Visual Companion and Official Movie Guide this past weekend. I really like the backstories of the dwarves since you don't get a whole lot of info from the books other than the main guys. The one thing that I found most interesting though, was the fact that Bifur has the blade of an orc axe sticking out of his head. :yess: I could have watched The Hobbit 50 times and never caught that.:lol
