That photo's from LOTR, they're the dwarves in the prologue. Can't wait to see the new cast in all their dwarf attire! And that new photo looks great. I know it's been really heavily treated, but Bag End looks brand new!

I'd think, if PJ has any say like he did last time, Weta would have a good shout. But based on the quality of the maquettes, i wouldn't mind either way.

Looks like Hobbiton went through a pretty major famine in the intervening yrs judging by PJ's before and after shots

As far as 1:6th figures its possible and it might kick start the LOTR line again. Now, in regards to a maquette line I'll be happy with either honestly.

Personally, I would now want any hobbit 1/6 statue line to go to Sideshow, so that they fit in with the new ones.

Weta can carry on with any Hobbit environments though!

That would be awesome but I don't think that will happen. Also SS had a few of their sculptors work on pieces in the old SSW line.


As far as HT doing figures that would be cool but the figures SS put out was pretty awesome I thought.

Agreed. Keep the license with Sideshow so (hopefully) we can get Bilbo, Gandalf, Thorin and a few others at least.
