As far as 1:6th figures its possible and it might kick start the LOTR line again.

Itaril is described in unofficial casting call sheets as: female, A woodland Elf, this character is one the Silvan Elves. The Silvan Elves are seen as more earthy and practical. Shorter than other elves, she is still quick and lithe and physically adept, being able to fight with both sword and bow. Showing promise as a fighter at a young age, ITARIL was chosen to train to become part of the Woodland King’s Guard. This is the only life she has ever expected to live, until she meets and secretly falls in love with a young ELF LORD. This role will require a wig and contact lenses to be worn. Some prosthetic make-up may also be required. LEAD. AGE: 17-27.

Guess you gotta get the tweens into the theater somehow...

Guess you gotta get the tweens into the theater somehow...

There was enough different stuff added to the trilogy that I hated at first (some I still don't like now ), until I opened my mind and cast away the die-hard continuity to the books glasses I initially wore and my hate of the deviation from the original story faded away and made space in my heart for both.

What I mean is, I'll give PJ the benefit of the doubt and give it a chance.

This couldn't have been more perfectly cast.

Has there been any word on wether or not they intend to keep things like the eagles talking and stuff? I hope so.

Yup, I think there were some changes all of us didn't like but in the end I love both and they both are awesome. Sure the hobbit will be the same.

I'm sure that's just a 'job description' to get the actress into her role as the character, add a bit of background and story. I'm sure we won't actually SEE her meet and fall in love with this elf-lord, it's just for character building to give the actress something to work with.
