Agreed, I actually got bummed to learn this week is season finale because things are just starting to get really engaging and interesting and it'd suck to not get renewed next season, but sounds like it'll at least get a start.

I wonder if they're going to have them eating mice and things like original series, they need to start showing their reptilian nature more, beyond the egg laying and the small reveal shots.

i can see that happening for the finale,
also we got half v/human pregnancy to look forward to, i rememebr seeing the origional and that was scary

I'm actually curious to see what exactly the creators have come up with for a plot in terms of why the Vs are even on Earth. In the orginal series, it was to harvest resources from the planet and people for food, so far in these series, they've only been setting up to make a move but there's no indication of what the plan is. I assume the live aboard thing is a precursor to stocking up on food, but the whole army building and sending for a secre fleet just doesn't add up, seems like maybe this series will have a grander purpose for their presence.

And is it just me, or does anyone else feel like the old priest is going to be revealled to be a V or something at some point, whenever he talks, he always strikes me as being shady, maybe it's just his performance but I keep waiting for some big reveal that he's bad.

I was thinking the same thing.

Especially after Father Jack was having a crisis of faith, after the 5th Column shot down that V shuttle and thought they killed humans instead of V soldiers, and spoke with Father Travis who told him to do the "right thing".

I've been thinking it from like the first couple episodes, like I said, maybe it's just how the guy acts and it means nothing, maybe the show's intentionally making him seem shady just to get people thinking but in the end he'll just be another priest.

I'll say this, I can't figure Chad out, I keep hoping they'll make him into a good guy but right now he's just a two-faced ****** :lol Not that I care that much for Scott Wolf as an actor, I think I'm just used to Donovan being the reporter and main hero of the original that I expect the reporter in this one to take a pretty big role in things.

I find it interesting that they're already alluding to the V killing checmical like the original series used before the battle's even gotten underway.

Yeah, Chad is being a ****** alright! :lol

I like how they introduced the reptillian killing chemical also.

I wasn't surprised to see that Hobbes was making a deal with someone for the data from the laptop. But I was surprised that it turned out to be Marcus.

I'm looking forward to next week's episode and for the second season...but I really wish that Tyler would stop being such a love sick nancy-boy or get eaten by Lisa. :lol

Yeah, something about these love struck teens in both V shows are just annoying. Robin was a stupid, whiny _____ in the first one :lol At least Tyler picked a hottie to go after, I don't mind her being around, and they seem to make a big effort to get her down to underwear as often as possible :lol

Hobbes is an interesting character, he's definitely about himself but he also seems committed to the cause too, I think he's going to be one of those characters always working both sides towards his goals. Be curious to see how his deal with Marcus plays out, I don't expect it to be honored, maybe that'll be the plot point to push him full resistance, either he fights with his own people or he's screwed.

So, I've got about 8 of these stacking up on the DVR. Is it worth continuing? It's been slow going so far.

I'd say it's been ramping up over the last 3-4 episodes. It definitely started slow but I think it's building up pretty good, it's a shame that it hits a good momentum just as the season wraps, but a lot of shows hold back when they start to try and make it easier for people to get into it, though I'd have probably sped V up about 2-3 episodes sooner than thehy have, I'd actually have had the second half of this season start the ramping up of things.

:yess: Which doesn't bother me at all! :hi5:

I'm wondering if Lisa is gonna sabotage the soldier eggs before they hatch. When she spoke with Joshua she looked concerned about their hatching and the consequences if they got to earth.

IMO, Yes, they're worth watching. :D

Yeah, it's shaping up like Lisa's going to be another covert friend. I really liked Martin in the original series in that role.

I thought the last two episodes were pretty good, I just wish it hadn't taken so long for things to get interesting. And I could do without Anna's sly smile every time she realizes she's fooled the stupid humans. :lol

Anna creeps me out, she seems like she's some robot the production team is animating, hard to imagine that's a living, breathing actress :lol

I don't find her attractive, she's creepy, there's something artificial looking about her face. I'll take Lisa any day though.

Lisa is cute, but her face also looks artificial to me. Morena Baccarin has very soft features. Anna does not. I think they've done something to accentuate the angles in their faces. It makes it look as if they've both had plastic surgery.

The actress playing Lisa is younger so the effect is less severe.

I find her very attractive. Even better when she has longer hair. I do think they make her look artificial on purpose.
