For an entire season to be over and nothing till next March, nothing really seemed to happen, even though it seemed rushed to get no where.

So far, I'm majorly disappointed in this TV series. The only thing it has going for it is Anna and Anna's daughter. I don't like the "V" ninja's, the subject matter is too political for discussion on this forum, and it doesn't even come close to living up to the original series.

I really don't see where the subject matter is too politcal but I think you look at everything through political colored glasses.

Nothing wrong with that but I would have ulcers if I did.

Have to agree with you The Ween. Almost every sci-fi movie/show has something to do with the political issues of that time.

I think the basis of most things Sci-fi, on film or print, has to to with political issues and peril of human nature. I just tend to ignore it and enjoy! I know I sure as hell don't need an ulcer! Supergirl in her undies helps with that too! Long live V!!!!!

Lucky you! Where is our hot guy in undies to look at? It certainly isn't that dweebie kid! :monkey4

Watched the last episode. For the first time ever I think I agree with Mesa. It's like there is a political agenda or something. Give me a break. Poison flu shots!?!?! That's right out of Teemu's handbook of all that which is conspiracy. The first series had a much deeper meaning that this show is lacking. I will watch in March though. And how the hell can they cure cancer and make scars disappear in 2 seconds but don't have a cure for the common cold? Laughable! :rotfl

The series is losing me as well... it's just boring. I'm not enticed at all to watch the new episodes in March, it's just bland on too many levels.

I guess I don't see where all the political stuff comes in. The flu shot makes sense because ALOT of people get it every year. Plus, it's a current thing.

Besides, if they put it in the water system, then it would mix with the flouride and might not work! :D

Hey......the common cold kills Martians, so it just might kill V's too!

All of their episodes have referenced a conspiracy in one way or the other. It's not even original. That's lame IMO. I was sooo pumped for this show too.

Meh. If this show didn't come back, I probably wouldn't even notice. ABC is calling it "The Epic Series V", I can't figure out what's so epic about it. The original two miniseries were epic. This is just boring as all hell.

But......the whole thing is a conspiracy! They're lying about everything just so they can eat good in the neighborhood!

I think it will pick up in March, but I do think it's stupid to start a series like this.

Go back and watch the original. They touched on major themes without it being over obvious. I don't hate it, I just think they could have done something way better.

I did watch it when it was on SciFi a few weeks back.

Just remember that alot has changed in the past 20 years and everything is a conspiracy now. Plus the V's were supposed to have been here for years, so they are probably trying to tie it in somehow.

I just wanna see her eat a guinea pig!! :rock

Is anyone still watching this? After the last 3 episodes I realized I don't care about any of the characters in this show. They all seem so bland. And they seem to be taking teen angst to a new level. :lol

Yeah i'm still watching it and i really like the show can't understand all the hate, but each to their own.

Same here. I was kinda into the show before the long break, but now that we're finally getting new episodes I just can't seem to get back into it, and I'm not connecting with any of the characters.

I don't hate it, I just don't care that much about the characters. Especially with the kid.

I do have to say I'm a fan of Jonathan Frakes as a director.

I think they're trying to do too much at once right now. The show feels like it's being treated to cater to people who've seen the original V. Where that series spent time with the key characters before it all went down, this one's jumping right into the action, so you're not getting the character development the original had. It feels like it's going to take the whole season to get enough information about the characters to have any liking for them or understanding, which is a bit long. I'm following the show, I like the original V, but I'm not sure if this will go past a season.
