She also said dont worry we didn't over sell @ SDCC the ES will be large enough that everyone that wants one will get one.From the looks of the waitlisters that missed the sell out by seconds that didn't happen either.

No need to sick Dave on me.Its just the ramblings of someone that missed the sellout by a under minute while refreshing the page to buy.A little venting from time to time cleanses the soul.:D

Exactly.....especially compared to others whom have posted pics. It'd be more of a hassle IMHO to ship it back for such small defects instead of just painting over it eventually. While it does send somewhat of a message that imperfections are acceptable.....looking it, the damages are only visible upclose and personal which in reality I won't do that often. I just gonna keep him and hope that its lesson learned by the time Ben Grimm ships.

I agree with you Mike. If i'm gonna receive one with defects, then i rather have a broken statue then a small scuff mark. Hope i didn't jinx myself:banghead

I have only one thing to say, and I'm only gonna say it here, because I begin to feel like a broken record after a while. Please feel free to repeat as necessary... So listen up :)

Please (please please) do not believe everything you read on the internet. If YOU receive a piece that has visible damage, PLEASE contact our customer service/returns department before panicking because of what someone on a message board has posted.

Per information from our Returns Department, damaged Stealth Iron Mans will be replaced on a first come, first served basis in the normal fashion - IF an email with photos and all pertinent information (name, order number, etc.) is received by our returns department. Don't dilly-dally, start the process immediately, as soon as you open the box. Please allow at least 2-3 business days for a response. If you send in your photos/email once, there is no need to send the same request repeatedly, as every email ties up the process even longer.

We know that it's fun to get out the torches and pitchforks and run with conspiracy theories against the evil corporation. Heck, we do it ourselves ;) But, honest, Sideshow is not out to swindle you or take your money and run. We always try to make things right, and when things aren't perfect, we do our best as a team to make them at least a little better. It just sometimes takes a few days when lots of stuff is shipping. Im curious, how do you explain what happened with the original Iron Man statues and the Cap vs Red skull when you ran out of replacements for people who had a damaged one? The only option sideshow gave people is a full refund or to keep a damaged statue....To me that is weak. Your company doesnt do it's homework on how to properly protect people's investments, then you don't even fulfill the demand from customers with damaged products, and you tell them "take it or leave it...your refund, or keep a damaged product". Im sorry but I dont see that as "trying to make things right" or "make them at least a little better".

After what Dusty said, I was just about to post something similar to what Nash said. That was some crappy response as to how to handle the situation.

It sure seems like we're being dealt the cold shoulder. We're only the average loyal customer on here. What does that matter?

I just think this is why people are reacting the way they are right now. It is inevitable based on past instances that we are headed for the

"We're sorry loyal customer, but due to paint application problems we will not be receiving any more replacements for your inquiry and are unable to fulfill your replacement request for the Stealth Iron Man Statue. However, because we are dedicated to 100% customer satisfaction, we will offer you a full refund for your purchase or if you so choose, you may keep your existing statue. Thank you so much!"

No- I am saying that giving people jobs overseas, even if they are not making our wages, is better than them not having jobs.

i would prefer that americans be fed, sheltered and employed FIRST. however most companies cutting the bottom line outsource to other countries for customer service and manufacturing to increase profit. a major reason why our country is slipping into recession. next stop..depression. i wonder how good polystone tastes? :confused: :lol :confused: :lol :confused:

Sounds like a paint problem similar to the Bowen Thanos Statue. It's like they are rushing to get the statues out and not letting them dry properly...:monkey4
 
SIM..flawed or not?

just wanted to take a poll on how many people received a flawed sim and how many didn't. maybe the problem isn't as widespread as we feared. here's a good way to see. i'm sure some were received with no flaws too.

29 views and zero votes. i would think people were interested to see if this is an isolated problem or an enormous one.

I don't think it is and this is why us East Coasters and EU customers should be more nervous than those that have already received it.

I couldn't stop the shipment in time, so mine is on its way as well.

If I get one that is in good condition ( :lol ) I might just flip it. :monkey3

tylerd, most of us haven't received our Stealths yet. Trust me, as more people get their's in you'll see more posts.

Thats pretty bad. The people at the factory obviously don't really care either. The head reps at SS need to get a clue.

Luckily for me, there were no issues at all. I was also lucky enough to not have any skuffs what so ever with the Legendary Scale IM as well.
