How Sideshow could still have a lot of quality control problems like this after all those years is beyond me...Its not like their stuff has a NECA price tag on it...I remember when I received my Grey Hulk PF and there was a giant paint mark on his eyebrow...With shipping and customs it had just costed me 700$ imagine how pissed I was....

Sometimes I have no idea what they are thinking with their packaging. I still can't believe they didn't stick with that soft foam they used on the first few Star Wars Premium Formats. That stuff was nice.

Thats pretty bad. The people at the factory obviously don't really care either. The head reps at SS need to get a clue.

I am just now hearing about these issues. SO FRUSTRATING! Arghhh. Is this happening to a bunch of people? Why didn't they learn their lesson from the LS Iron Man bust? WTF?!

Refunds no replacements?!?! Really? That'll piss me off. If it comes damaged I just want a correct one, if I wanted my cash back I would have canceled before it shipped and saved myself the shipping cost. :google:

No kidding. On top of that you have to pay them to ship it back.

Just got off the phone with Customer Service..and they basically told me that the returns department will get back with me in 3-5 days to see if they can help me out. I asked why so long and she told me that there is only 2 (2!!!!) people in that department and they do get a lot of calls, and its a first come first serve bases..

WOW...Ive always been a HUGE fan of Sideshow, but this really sucks...However, thier not as bad as Gentle G...but Im quite upset...Ive spent nearly $9000 in last 2-3 years with SS...and this is really mind blowing...Well, I hope someone here gets better news than I did...

I might call back later and see if another CS person can help me out...

SS saw what was going on with all the scalping/reselling ;)...But, Pre-sellers are screwed.

ES of 1200, finding just one that's 100% mint...good luck.

Bodie: see how long that holds up when 85% of them are refunds. SS has just lost thousands.

If this holds true...I knew it would..this was a hot item and long since sold out...But it always amazes me when SS goes to Comic Con the mysteriously show up with 'SOLD OUT' schit...and give them away with thier raffles or contests...

This better be a small amount of SS pieces that are bad or I am quiting the SS collecting gig.

I already had enough problems with the Darkness PF. This would probably end my days as a SideShow collector if the majority are marked up...

Also, do we know that SS said they will not replace, but refund? I like to know who made that official statement, and evidence that follows it.

Someone over on Statue Forum posted it but then someone climed in and said that was for the original Red/Yellow piece. At this point nothing has been substanciated.

Heh, I wouldn't know, I didn't order it. I thought the original looked better. Plus it dosen't seem all that profitable of a seller on ebay (faux bronze). But if there is a problem with both versions, SS will really start to lose base with it's regular and SW customers. But they have not had any real problems with their other dios, aside from marvel, from what I have read. Right now it's about the SIM fiasco.

It's always been a 3-5 day thing for returns. Usually it's quicker than that, my only return shipped the day after they received my original. It's just a standard time frame they give. Take a chill pill. It's not like you won't get a replacement. I still have to wait a week just to get my original shipment so things could be worse.
