I can't wait to see how much cheaper the shipping will be. If its not a considerable amount less people's heads are friggin' gonna explode.

P.S. That's not directed at anyone in particular, just tryin' to have a little fun folks. :D

Ok some of your guys are to much. I swear I have seem more civil fights on the playground of a pre-school.

I swear how many times can you say the same thing. All thats missing is the yelling louder and louder each time until someone listens to you.

I personnaly do not think it will be a considerable difference to US collectors anyway. May be instead of 30 you will pay 25 now. for foreign collectors the price might drop like 40 $ however, I would like to have a polystone statue instead of plastic as I already put that 40 $ more to my budget

I think the original poster did that for emphasis. I doubt Sideshow sent it like that.
That only proves the email was modified, hmmm wonder what else was modified.

As I said this in the other thread I can send you an email from Sideshow saying what ever you want. Just give me your email address.

It has been 21 pages and I have yet to give my response. I know many of you have been waiting for Bannister's thoughts on the matter, so here goes. I like cookies. Especially chocolate chip. Even better than this is oatmeal chocolate chip. The only thing better than using chips of chocolate are chunks. Cookies always taste best when they are fresh from the oven. They are warm and soft not rough and hard with crumbs getting everywhere when they have been sitting a while.

I would have to concur with that Bannister I just hope Sideshow chimes in on this debacle and share their thoughts between Oreo or Chips Ahoy.

Has sideshow mentioned exactly what parts of Boba will be plastic? Or will the entire armor plus the helmet be plastic?

I don't know if you are joking or not..

From the production blog:

With Boba Fett, as with every project, we felt the proportions of the final product were of critical importance, and the best way to maintain consistent proportion amongst the various components would be to produce them all in the same material. The helmet, armor, body, and all other ‘hard’ parts are all cast in the same material, and we believe the end result is a durable, crisp, accurate and very solid 1:4 scale Boba Fett (and not quite so heavy – it may save you a little on shipping!).

All ABS plastic, hence all the arguing...:emperor

NEWS UPDATE: Tragic seas have swallowed a cargo ship containing all of Sideshow Collectibles' Boba Fett Premium Format Figures.

That would certainly end the feuds.

Please stop attacking me with foul language. I believe we are all entitled to our opinion. I myself prefer girl-scount cookies.

Could you be any more condescending with your girl scout cookie elitism.

The funny thing guys is that if this was made by Koto we would all be saying it looks awesome but its vinyl.....and in there lies the problem with this. It looks great but its made of plastic.

True, I used to own the KOTO Boba and it was awesome, but I got it for $60.

Yup. I proudly own the Ep3 clone commanders and the Snowtrooper. They are finer than many resin statues I've seen, in terms of sculpt and paint detail.
