I dunno. In Predator, everybody on Team Testosterone just behaved like you'd picture them in real life. Their "acting" wasn't really a far stretch. AND IT WORKED! Which was good given the overall lack of Oscar potential in that film.
Meanwhile Predators had better actors, but I think they failed in having them trying to be people outside of their realm. There were exceptions like Danny Trejo and Louis Ozawa Changchien, but Topher being a serial killer seemed well beyond his grasp, Brody trying his best to be Bale's John Connor and Laurence's scatterbrained hermit all seemed so completely out of character for the actors it was almost distracting watching them struggle to stay in character. The good news is the film keeps moving in a way that you can enjoy it without getting too annoyed.

I feel like I know the characters in Predator much more than the characters in Predators.. But it could be because Predators hasn't even been out for a year yet..
